Don't buy one of the first three games. They are not connected storywise to the second trilogy and are inferior in every aspect, especially when it comes to the localization.

On Chapter 1 and am 6 hours in. What a GREAT game. Who cares about dated graphics; this game has charm like Radiant Historia
