There are plenty of good apps out there that allow you to play word search puzzles on your iPhone, but have you ever wished that you could create your own? One that has a word list relating to something a little more relevant to you? One that isn't confined to the available screen space? Me too! That's where Make My Own Word Search comes in.

The puzzles are made to be printed on good old fashioned paper. After you've chosen a grid size, directions allowed for word placement, and created a word list the app will generate a letter sized PDF file of the puzzle page, hint page, and answer sheet. If you have AirPrint setup on your device you can print all pages or individual pages directly. Or you can email the PDF files to yourself or others for printing later. You can also transfer the files directly out of the app using iTunes File Sharing.

And if you don't like the built in page layout or would like to create a word search for use in your own document (such as a newsletter, etc.) image files are also created which are supported by most third party apps. Simply drag the image into your document and arrange it how you like!
