Killzone 2 is more that what I expected it to be, the online gameplay is better than Halo in my opinon, yes that is a risky thing to say, but I never really enjoyed Halo and I prefer the realism that Killzone Brings, the maps are gritty and well designed, they also seem to favour skilled gamers in theri design, sadly the inclusion of the RPG (noob tube) can ruin the experience sometimes.

The Story was somewhat bland, Kotaku mentioned that they forgot which character they were playing as, though I managed to aviod the confusion of bald space marines, it is safe to say that there is nothing special in the character design, the Helghast however are very entertaining and give the game some great distinction, the boss battles during the story mode are also of a high calibur.

The Graphics are stunning on a level that I have never seen, every texture is incredibly detailed, the gameplay mechanics are said to be quite uncomfortable, however, upon the discovery of the options menu, everything is put right and all that is needed is a little practice.

This game is by far underated and though it may not be good enough to stand up to COD4, I do believe that this is one of the top 5 shooters this generation.
