Publisher Clear River Games announced the action RPG, Terranigma, will launch for the Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam and GOG.

Terranigma arrives on PC and console with several Quality-of-Life additions, as well as a brand-new Arranged Mode of the game. In Arranged Mode, gamers will find multiple tweaks to the classic, with increased magic damage, a mini map to help navigating the world easier and the ability to save your progress wherever you wish.

I had this game as a kid. It was my first ever RPG, JRPG, action RPG & action JRPG at the same time.
I just recently re-bought the SNES game CIB PAL UK version (which is hard to find) a few days before the announcement for £532 (+108 import tax/handelling). Now it sits proudly on my shelf in a super hard thick plastic protector :D
Great game with magical memories. One of the best (if not, the best) SNES, 4th gen (& pre-5th gen in general) games of all time.
This would make a nice free addition to the SNES emulator on Switch 2. I'm not sure I get the value in a $200 special edition but oh well. I want to be hyped for this but it looks like a barebones port.
