Valve announced the Steam Frame will start at $1,059 and those interested can join a list by September 17 at 10:00 am PT / 1:00 pm ET for a chance to purchase one.
The Steam Frame will be available in two models - the 256 GB Kit is priced at $1,059 and the 1 TB Kit is priced at $1,299. The storage is the only difference between the two options.
A power supply is not included, but can be purchased separately for $29. The steam Deck charger and any 45W or higher USB-C charger will work.
The Ergonomic Accessories Kit is available for $59. It includes two controller hand straps / battery doors, one headset top strap, and one extended light blocker. The Accessory Replacement Kit is available for $49. It includes one face gasket, one head cushion, and one standard light blocker.
The Steam Frame is also compatible with the color passthrough by Arcturus Vision and prescription inserts by Zenni.
