Beast of Reincarnation Debuts in 3rd on the Japanese Charts, Switch 2 Sells 66K - Sales

Rhythm Heaven Groove (NS) has topped the first place on the retail charts in Japan with sales of 139,363 units, according to Famitsu for the two week period ending August 16, 2026. 

Beast of Reincarnation (PS5) debuted in third place with sales of 48,157 units.

Splatoon Raiders (NS2) came in second place with sales of 64,921 units, Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream (NS) is in fourth place with sales of 43,884 units, and Pokémon Pokopia (NS2) is in fifth place with sales of 14,235 units.

Powerful Pro Baseball 2026-2027 (NS) came in sixth place with sales of 12,887 units, Minecraft (NS) is in seventh place with sales of 12,351 units, and Mario Kart World (NS2) is in eighth place with sales of 11,377 units.

Ganbare Goemon Daishuugou! (NS) is in ninth place with sales of 8,052 units and eFootball Kick-Off! (NS2) is in 10th place with sales of 6,961 units.

The Nintendo Switch 2 was the best-selling platform with 65,560 units sold. The PlayStation 5 sold 19,955 units, the Switch 1 sold 15,020 units, and the Xbox Series X|S sold 135 units.
