We are comparing march with december. That means the Switch 2 is still ahead of the Switch after the huge 2017 hollidays with Mario Odyssey.

Nevertheless the Switch 1 holiday sales were a lot higher than the ones of Switch 2. Without the Pokopia boost, both systems have sold equally so far..

Due to Odyssey. And the Switch 2's 2026 March was a lot higher than NS1's 2018 March march due to Pokopia.

Games are what moves the needle. Always have, always will.

The only thing that can change the numbers are Smash, Mario 3D, Animal Crossing in this year. Pokemon is next year with Winds and Waves, Main Zelda maybe will take more time to get a new one. Also a Big Mario Party can also make more numbers.

Mario kart world is already a system seller since that game has gotten the system to almost 20 million if your implying that Mario Kart isn't a system seller.
