Senior Director & Video Game Industry Thought Leader at Circana Mat Piscatella has revealed some hardware sales information for the US.
The Nintendo Switch 2 Mario Kart World bundle was the best-selling hardware SKU in the US for the week ending November 22 in terms of units sold. The NEX Playground Interactive Gaming System came in second place, followed by the PlayStation 5 Slim Digital Edition 1 TB in third place.
This would be for the week before Black Friday and includes two days of the PlayStation 5 $100 off discount.
For those that don't know, the NEX Playground Interactive Gaming System is a hardware device designed for kids and families that has similar capabilities of Xbox's Kinect.
The device is priced at $249 and has five games includes Fruit Ninja, Starri, Whac-a-Mole, Go Keeper, and Party Fowl. A separate subscription of a 3-Month ($49) or 12-Month Play Pass ($89) is required in order to access the full catalog of games with new games added each month.
