EA Claims 98% of Battlefield 6 Matches Were Cheater Free During Launch Week - News

"We’re proud to share that ~98% of all matches were fair and free of cheater impacts during the week following launch — meaning our average Match Infection Rate (MIR) was ~2%," reads the post from EA. "That means almost every player who jumped into the Battlefield enjoyed a level playing field."
There were also 1.2 million cheat attempts blocked during the open best test and tends of thousands of cheaters were removed. Cheaters that were live streaming their cheating in real time were even banned. The number of matches without cheating during the beta increased from 93.1 percent to nearly 98 percent by the final day.

Battlefield 6 launched for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store on October 10.
