There is a lack of good first-party games for the PS5, maybe a new God of War remake could boost sales. But I still believe that the PS5 could surpass the PS3 by the end of this year.

Exclusives aren't gonna sell PS5's anymore. It's now up to those who haven't already moved on to move on. Everyone who cares about PS5 exclusives (even though they go to PC) already has one. And yes I think the PS5 will pass the PS3 or at least match it by the end of the year.

Wonder if GTA can turn the trend. Since it seems like the PS5 will never get a price drop, Sony has their work cut out for them. Bundling a first party game at the current price could help.

This is the second generation where these console manufacturers are afraid to do consistent bundles with their 1st Party games without increasing the price. The 1st being the 8th generation. We used to see after 2-3 years consoles getting bundles consistently and I still don't understand why. If you're not going to drop the price at least bundle in a 1st Party game to make it more enticing.

I mean every single PS5 comes Astro's Playroom, which is a full fledged game.

The lack of quality first party releases, $200 higher price tag as barrier of entry have played spoiler for the PS5. Still a high selling console despite the massive disappointment it has become.

Bad competition from Xbox has led to this.
