The First Fully-fledged Action RPG in the Mainline Final Fantasy Series
An epic dark fantasy world where the fate of the land is decided by the mighty Eikons and the Dominants who wield them. This is the tale of Clive Rosfield, a warrior granted the title “First Shield of Rosaria” and sworn to protect his younger brother Joshua, the dominant of the Phoenix. Before long, Clive will be caught up in a great tragedy and swear revenge on the Dark Eikon Ifrit, a mysterious entity that brings calamity in its wake.
- Titanic Clashes – When rival Dominants come head to head, epic battles between their Eikons ensue!
- Eikonic Action – Clive utilizes the powers of multiple Eikons in breakneck battle!
From Strength to Strength
A plethora of powerful swordplay techniques and Eikonic abilities lie within Clive’s remit—and it is up to you to decide which ones you wish to learn or upgrade. If you’re having trouble choosing, upgrades can be unlocked automatically.
Story-focused mode is recommended for those players who are less comfortable with action games and wish to focus more on the game’s story elements. In this mode, Clive will automatically evade some attacks, and epic Eikonic combos can be triggered with simple button presses. Action-focused mode, where Clive’s every action is controlled by the player, is available for those who are confident in their skill—or want to test it.

Just bought it on xbox also bought FFXIII-2 with it
Have fun i love it on my ps5 and you will have a great story with good action.
There is also a demo available (I have played through it yesterday- my first Final Fantasy experience since "Adventure" on the OG Gameboy...). It seems really well made, high production value and loads of story (there is as much cutscene as there is gameplay). Reminded me of watching Game of Thrones (in a good way).
I'm surprised they got this to work on the Series S.
Nice
I thought it was fine, not the best Final Fantasy, not the worst either. Just fine.
Dear Xbox players. Some have given bad views on this game, but it is good. Perfect storytelling, great fantasy action game. I'm glad Final Fantasy went back to high fantasy and a less modern world.
Will they add sales or is it straight to gamepass lol
You do know majority of games available on Xbox are not on Game Pass right? Lol but, no this isn’t available on Game Pass. And neither will 7 Remake
Hopefully coz Microsoft can buy em easy
I was wrong. I said it wouldn't be possible to get this game running on a XBSS because it was designed on the PS5's 14GB usable RAM while XBSS only has 8GB usable. Can't wait to see the comparison vids of all the different versions.
It is quite shocking to learn that you were wrong about something... :)
Now Xbox fans can experience this non RPG and total disappointment with some of the worst writing for women in recent memory.
