I still seeing PS5 Outselling PS4
Will get tough now with the recent price hike having basically cut off all legs of the PS5. Maybe it will go up later again, and the Pro may help, but it looks quite grim now.
PS4 has made some major gains since 2022. 1862% increase! Could PS4 be on track to hit 50mil in Japan alone? I think so, though it might be a stretch. My projection is PS4 will see ~2163% increase from 2024 to 2026, and then ~3872% increase from 2026 to 2028. Sales will creater with the launch of NSW2 in 2029.
(on a serious note, nothing much notbable which hasn't already been said. PS5 prolly won't hold up YoY due to price hikes, giving NSW greater opportunity to hold strong YoY. Xbox seems to be really struggling in Japan as of recent...not entirely sure why this is?)
