Ouch
...and I said it can't get worse than Xbox One lol
It doesn't help that the XBSS looks almost identical to the XboneS. If the average person cannot visually see a new product than they won't be able to see the value of the new one
seems there’s a brigade of Xbox users here who love that downvote button…notice that in almost every Xbox post here, every harsh comment discussing the present reality will get knocked by -3 or -4 initially, but then usually settle out around +-0 after a while. (call it conspiracy, but I believe there is one dude who has multiple accounts, who cares that much about the reputation of Xbox…lol.)
There are 3/4 very passionate Xbox users on here. Have been seeing them a lot less recently though.

does gamepass have anything to do with thi?

its a real question looking for a real answer.
It might, I've considered buying an Xbox Series S in the past when it was on sale. But ultimately I just decided to play Starfield and other new games on gamepass ultimate on my old Xbox One S and you know what they run fine streaming them.
I would say Gamepass is a big selling point for Xbox hardware.
