PlayStation Plus Monthly Games for April 2024 Announced - News

Sony Interactive Entertainment has revealed the PlayStation Plus monthly games for April 2024. The games will be available starting on Tuesday, April 2 until Monday, May 6.
The three PlayStation Plus monthly games are Immortals of Aveum for the PS5, Minecraft Legends for the PS5 and PS4, and Skul: The Hero Slayer for the PS4.
Alongside the Monthly Games lineup, PlayStation Plus subscribers can get access to the Overwatch 2 Mega Bundle, which includes Legendary Beekeeper Sigma, Legendary Art Deco Symmetra, seven Epic Skins, and five Battle Pass Tier Skips.

Immortals of Aveum | PS5
This single-player first-person magic shooter tells the story of Jak as he joins an elite order of battlemages to save a world on the edge of an abyss. Minecraft Legends | PS4, PS5
Discover the mysteries of Minecraft Legends. In this action strategy game. Explore a gentle land of rich resources and lush biomes on the brink of destruction. The ravaging piglins have arrived, and it’s up to you to form alliances with new friends and familiar mobs, then lead the charge in epic battles against the fierce piglins to defend the Overworld. Skul: The Hero Slayer | PS4
An attack on the Demon King’s castle by a heroic band of adventurers has seen all but one of its denizens captured and imprisoned. Now, as a lowly skeleton Skul, you must save your demonic brethren. This 2D action platformer boasts rogue-like features, with an ever-changing map and a growing arsenal of abilities, each with its own unique attack range, speed and power. Equip two types at a time to fit your play style, and switch out during combat to find the best strategy to defeat your foes.

You’ll be able to find and download this bundle in addition to the PlayStation Plus Monthly Games line up on PlayStation Store. Download Overwatch 2 from the PlayStation Store to access. Once downloaded, the bundle’s contents will be available in-game immediately, regardless of whether you’re a new or returning player.

Immortals is a game I would like to play but was not interested in paying for it. If you have not played Skull its actually a very good game and was a lot of fun for me.
Minecraft Legends has it's limits. Overwatch 2 hmm sure keep trying to keep it alive. The Indie seems fine think heard of Skull before somewhere.
Immortals already own and while looter aspects are modern and fine I guess (just why though) or the magic system or the fair level design, dialogue, etc. I wanted it to succeed so to me it's setting I was like FINALLY a not military shooter whether mainstream AAA or Indies and it flops.
Judas I am hopeful for but even Calisto I was like oh people didn't like it huh does that mean brand or execution matters I'd say so. The vets might want to continue the IPs with certain ideas/direction but audiences have spoken clearly. Let alone vets like No Man's Sky or Nightinggale in the survival genre compared to some Indies safeness.
I love when I see games for setting or gameplay and they flop. Balan Rayman 3 suit experience enjoyed the roughness, the devs behind it didn't matter to me.
Forspoken magic system, fair level design, the 1400p didn't bother me.
Atlas Fallen good attacking in air move besides just another hub based hack n slash.
Immortals flopping. I get games need more wow worlds to appeal to people or yes with Forspoken the dialogue and diversity Sweet Baby stuff.
I just seek gameplay and I see games flop. It's disappointing. I still buy them though and enjoy them for what I seeked from them in the first place though.
I ignore the dialogue in Borderlands/Tiny Tina, still had a fair experience.
Did they ever fix Aveum's resolution and performance? Using FSR 2 Ultra performance at 4K means 720p, and even with that performance was 45-60 fps.
Crappy games
Struggling games. This did not cost Sony much. Good for them to have a second chance though.
Minecraft legends looks cool - have to check if you can do split screen coop
My last official PS + games before my 14 year old membership expires for the first time in a few weeks. I'll claim them, but probably wont' play any of them until I eventually re-sign back up when they are offering PS + at a discount again.
Same feeling here, and waiting to see the price during Days of Play, held every June,
