close race! Only 20mil ahead.
LOL.
Bet PS5 ends up at around 90/95 million. No idea why people are buying one, I also bet there were more first party stuff on the PS3 in the same period. (Guessing on the last part).
PS5 Pro. GTA 6. 100 million sales. Job done
No need to guess. It is known that games in general have longer development times nowadays.
depends on how good Sony's first-party output is. Admittedly, I was caught a little off-guard by the strength of Helldivers and FFVIIRe. Plus, they've gotten Rise of Ronin alongside new IP Stellar Blade. Don't count PS5 out so early: I expect the system will move around 115-120mil LTD, especially with Xbox so terribly weak at the moment, and gaming -- as a whole -- becoming a much bigger industry.
Maybe I'm being an optimist, but I truly struggle to see a situation where PS5 flounders its way down to 90-95mil. Especially when last fiscal year is expected to be Sony's strongest year ever in terms of hardware sales.
