Having received a letter from his deceased wife, James heads to where they shared so many memories, in the hope of seeing her one more time: Silent Hill. There, by the lake, he finds a woman eerily similar to her…

"My name… is Maria," the woman smiles. Her face, her voice… She’s just like her.

Experience a master-class in psychological survival horror—lauded as the best in the series―on the latest hardware with chilling visuals and visceral sounds.

Graphics seem a tad lackluster compared to Bloober's usual work, hopefully improvements are planned.

Not looking good. Sound and animations are in bad shape, hope they can still futher polish this one, It's needed.

Combat has always been the weakest part of SH so it shouldn't be hard to improve upon, the important part is just that it doesn't take away the focus from the other aspects that carried the original games.

The graphics were unimpressive. What they had showed for other SH was quite better.

Basically Silent Hill Homecoming in tone and combat style which is not a positive.

Bloober Team just showed us how incompetent they are at delivering this legendary game

Hm, while I'm not really a target audience for this type of game, since I only brushed by survival horrors in the early 90s, much later, around 2008, after playing Penumbra Overture and liking it, I stumbled upon Silent Hill Homecoming and ended up having a fairly good time with it.
This reminds me of it (I've never played SE2), so maybe I am target audience for this particular game after all.
