Publisher Deep Silver and developer Volition have announced Saints Row will launch for PC via Steam on August 24.
The game first released for he Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Epic Games Store in August 2022.

We have our targets locked on a brand new city—Santo Ileso—a melting pot of big city business and darkened alley street crime, the perfect place to start a new criminal empire and the biggest and best playground we have ever created. Also, on a side note, the best Tacos in the American South West, (Chalupracarbra has a certain “kick” to it, if you know what I mean). The law in this city? Never heard of her. You don’t become self-made by following laws, right? Well, if you do—it sounds SUPER boring, so we’ll do it our way, thanks. You play as whoever you want in your journey from Newbie to Boss, kicking ass and fighting… well not crime obviously. Honestly Valve should just tell anyone who makes exclusive deals with Epic to F off when they try coming back to steam a year later. Or even hit them with an increased fee to allow them to sell on their store.
As much as I'd love for that to be a thing, I can easily see Timmy running a childish ad campaign like he did with the Apple court case (Save Fornite), against Valve.
I do however, believe Valve should absolutely adhere to their own guidelines, in that said exclusive game should not have a storefront page on Steam before or during the full 1-3 year exclusivity deal, and wishlisting should only ever be allowed within 1 week leading up to release (this actively punishes the studio with less pre-orders leading up to release and relies more on them to market their already year old game to make them put more effort into earning that second release window).
And nobody gave a damn.

Isn't the game generally considered to be utterly rubbish though? Why even bother?
This is possibly the worst game to release and the worst time of the month.
Worst game, because the devs actively shat all over Saints fans "this isn't your Saints Row", and went out of their way to ignore what players wanted for months and months.
Worst time to release, because Armored Core is coming out a day after Saints Row, a year old game, releases on Steam.
The game is already disliked by many, the sales were disappointing, the game is already a year old, and there is no way this is going to float on Steam, especially with Armored Core, a new game in the franchise, is coming out and people absolutely love FS compared to Vio, who shat on their audience. AC is basically going to utterly bury this game, and that's entirely on Deep Silver for making that exclusivity deal with Epic, and on Vio, for shitting on their audience with disdain.
Also, thanks to Valve for that nifty feature called the "ignore" button, as soon as the game popped up on Steam, I hit ignore and I will never see that game pop up again on my feed, meaning the game isn't going to reach me at all, and I know I'm not the only one who's using that feature.
