Pikmin 4 Gets New Trailer, Pikmin 1 and 2 HD Versions Out Today for Switch - News

Nintendo during today's Nintendo Direct has released a new trailer for Pikmin 4.

Nintendo also announced HD versions of Pikmin 1 and Pikmin 2 are now available for the Nintendo Switch via the eShop. The games are available individually and in a digital bundle for a discounted price. A physical version will release on September 22.

Guide pintsized creatures in a grand mission on a strange planet!

Pikmin 4 will launch for the Nintendo Switch on July 21.

In the span of under 3 years. Being a Pikmin fan seems both exhilarating and utterly depressing (the wait from 2 to 3 and then 3 to 4).
I do want to play Pikmin someday.

I already preordered Pikmin 1 and 2! I really wish it would have gotten the Metroid Prime treatment though.

Already bought Pikmin 1 & 2 because I like those games, but after the mostly really good Metroid Prime remaster, these Pikmin & Advance Wars “remasters” have been super lazy by Nintendo.
AW 1 & 2 is 30fps & has really ugly maps, and unresponsive controls….& Now Pikmin 1 & 2 is using a lot of the same ugly textures from the GameCube era. I mean, just wow.
Still Pikmin 1 & 2 controls & performs a lot better from the first 3 hours I’ve played.

The Pikmin games are 50 as a bundle and are being sold as HD versions. Metroid Prime was sold as a full on remaster for 40.

They called Metroid Prime a remaster but it was more akin to a remake because they redid pretty much everything. Pikmin 1 and 2 are more align with a normal remaster, where it’s just updated rez and stuff.
