Not sure what you were expecting. These numbers are fantastic and according to Famitsu this is the best opening 10 weeks of the year for a PlayStation home console since 2005.

Well according to Mediacreate X/S is only 225k LTP so that 432k from Famitsu and on here could be inaccurate.

I thought the numbers were pretty good. The PS5 seems like it could reverse the trend of each successive PlayStation since the PS2 selling worse than its predecessor in Japan.
