It should be noted the Nintendo Switch and Xbox Series X|S had a worldwide launch, while the PlayStation 5 launch was split over the course of two weeks. Also, the Nintendo Switch launched in March 2017, while the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S launched during the holidays in November 2020.

Through the first 104 weeks available worldwide the Nintendo Switch is ahead of the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The Switch is ahead of the PS5 by 6.01 million units units and is 13.58 million units ahead of the Xbox Series X|S. The PS5 is ahead of the Xbox Series X|S by 7.57 million units.
The Switch has sold 31.57 million in 104 weeks worldwide, while the PS5 sold 25.56 million units and the Xbox Series X|S 17.99 million units.
Looking at the marketshare through 104 weeks, the Switch is in the lead. The Switch has a 42.0 percent marketshare, the PS5 sits at 34.0 percent, and the Xbox Series X|S at 24.0 percent.

The Switch has sold 11.08 million in 104 weeks in the US, while the PS5 sold 9.29 million units and the Xbox Series X|S 8.34 million units.
Looking at the marketshare through 104 weeks, the Switch currently leads. The Switch has a 38.6 percent marketshare, the PS5 sits at 32.4 percent, and the Xbox Series X|S at 29.0 percent.

The PlayStation 5 has been available for one week less than the Xbox Series X|S in Europe. After 103 weeks the PS5 is ahead of the Switch by 0.80 million units and is 3.89 million units ahead of the Xbox Series X|S. The Switch is ahead of the Xbox Series X|S by 3.09 million units.
The PS5 has sold 8.78 million in 103 weeks in Europe, while the Switch sold 7.98 million units and the Xbox Series X|S 4.89 million units.
Looking at the marketshare through 103 weeks, the PlayStation 5 currently leads. The PS5 has a 40.6 percent marketshare, the Switch sits at 36.8 percent, and the Xbox Series X|S at 22.6 percent.

The Switch has sold 7.55 million units in 104 weeks in Japan, while the PS5 has sold 2.08 million units, and the Xbox Series X|S 0.38 million units.
Looking at the marketshare through 104 weeks, the Switch currently leads. The Switch has a 75.4 percent marketshare, the PS5 sits at 20.8 percent, and the Xbox Series X|S at 3.8 percent.

I think due to the PS5 launching in holiday, we will see the PS5 overtake the switch by the end of the FY. Then we may see a back and forth until the PS5 pulls ahead. If the PS5 can produce anywhere near that mythical 30 million units the PS5 with pass the Switch for the foreseeable future.
Doubt about it... That graphic doesn't show a slowing of the Switch sales... also, the PS5 stock does not appear that it's gonna improve in the next months... BTW, the Animal Crossing and Pokemon SW/SH still has not been reflected in that graphic.
