does VGCharts have enough data to make a sales comparison between Switch and GameBoy? I think GameBoy is the currrent realistic console to be surpassed in terms of sales by the Nintendo Switch.

It will pass the Gameboy likely next year.

At this point, i can only see Switch VS PS2/DS as the most logical comparison.
And here you're only going to see a sales comparison between Switch and DS.

this data is over a week behind real time. Switch has passed 100m, Series has passed 11m and PS5 has passed 17m (or came close to it) by now.

Yes we know, it says it in the title. The reason is because to make good estimates trunkswd (the guy who makes the estimates) needs to wait a bit until all sites that publish data have done so for the week in question. It also takes a bit of time to make the needed calculations.

I remember times when VGC was over a month behind real time. William does an awesome job currently to keep the numbers up to date.
