Switch Sold Over 1.35 Million Units in the US in November - Sales
by William D'Angelo , posted on 01 January 2021 / 4,106 ViewsNintendo announced the combined sales of the Nintendo Switch and Switch Lite were over 1.35 million units in the US in November, according to NPD Group figures. The figures include Thanksgiving and Black Friday.
The Switch has now set another milestone for the US with 24 consecutive months as the best-selling video game console.
The Switch through the first 11 months of 2020 has sold 6.92 million units in the US alone, which is 426,000 units ahead of what the hybrid console sold in all of 2019.
"Nintendo Switch offers a unique proposition for shoppers this holiday season with the ability to play on the TV or portably in handheld mode," said Nintendo of America’s Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing Nick Chavez.
"We continue to see unprecedented demand for Nintendo Switch, and we are pleased that people of all ages and gaming skill levels will be experiencing Nintendo Switch this holiday and beyond."

Best selling console of November globally
Hats off to Nintendo. The Switch won't lose momentum to the PS5 nor Series X. I'd love to see actual sales numbers from all 3 consoles for November :)

Sales in November are slightly down year over year. Likely due to a lack of big IP release such as Pokemon. December will be interesting.
