Switch Vs. Xbox One US:

Gap change in latest month: 484,647 – Switch

Gap change over last 12 months: 4,421,016 - Switch

Total Lead: 9,021,886 – Xbox One

Switch Total Sales: 19,251,426

Xbox One Total Sales: 28,273,312

April 2020 is the 39th month that the Nintendo Switch has been available for in the US. During the latest month, the gap shrunk in favor of the Switch by 484,647 units when compared to the Xbox One. In the last 12 months the Switch has caught up to the lifetime sales of the Xbox One in the US by 4.42 million units. The Switch is currently 9.02 million units behind the Xbox One in the US.

The Xbox One launched in November 2013, while the Nintendo Switch launched worldwide in March 2017. The Switch has sold 19.25 million units, while the Xbox One has sold 28.27 million units.

If you were to align the launches of the two consoles in the US the Switch would be ahead by 3.33 million units, as the Xbox One had sold 15.92 million units through 39 months.

Nice with a new chart. While Switch's victory feels all but guaranteed here, it'll be interesting to see how long it takes it to get there.

I should have done this once the Switch passed the Xbox One worldwide. But ah well. I was looking at new possible charts and this one stuck out.

Gonna be a big win for Switch, XBO will sell a bit over 30 million lifetime (31/32m), Switch is going for the 40-45 million range.

It had to be the 360 .. not the xbox one .. this is not interesting, switch is on par or even slightly ahead of PS4, which is already 5M ahead of xb1 .. why you did the xb1 chart and not a 360 one ..
