
Worldwide Hardware Estimates for April 19 to 25 - Switch Sales Soar - Sales
by William D'Angelo , posted on 01 May 2020 / 5,492 ViewsThe Nintendo Switch was the best-selling console worldwide with 298,735 consoles sold for the week ending April 25, according to VGChartz estimates. After weeks of low stock around the world, Nintendo was able to replenish the console in many countries.
The PlayStation 4 was the second best-selling console with sales of 223,080 consoles sold. This was followed by the Xbox One with 52,860 units, and the Nintendo 3DS with 5,032 units.
Nintendo Switch sales compared to the same week a year ago are up 107,293 units (56.04%). The PlayStation 4 is up 15,887 units (7.67%), the Xbox One is up 6,146 units (13.16%), and the 3DS is down 18,934 units (-79.00%).
