Xbox Series X Event Set for May 7, to Feature Next-Gen Gameplay from Global Developers Partners - News

Microsoft announced it will host an Inside Xbox event on Thursday, May 7 at 8am PT / 11am ET. The event will feature the first look at next-generation gameplay of games running on the Xbox Series X. 

"You want to see games for the Xbox Series X? We want to show you games for the Xbox Series X," said Microsoft via Twitter. "Check out First Look next-gen gameplay from our global developers partners within [Inside Xbox] on Thursday, May 7 at 8am PT."

Ubisoft confirmed the Inside Xbox event will feature the first gameplay footage of the recently announced Assassin's Creed Valhalla

"We will be happy to reveal our first Assassin’s Creed Valhalla gameplay trailer during the First Look Xbox Series X Gameplay on Inside Xbox," said Ubisoft via Twitter. "Stay tuned!"

Hope they bring a few JRPGs to the table. That would make me consider a Series X. I mean they did it on 360, sure development costs are higher on next-gen systems, but.... one can hope, right?
