Here is an overview of the game:
Marvel's Spider-Man. Be Greater.
When a new villain threatens New York City, Peter Parker and Spider-Man’s worlds collide. To save the city and those he loves, he must rise up and be greater.
A Brand-New and Authentic Spider-Man Adventure
Sony Interactive Entertainment, Insomniac Games, and Marvel have teamed up to create a brand-new and authentic Spider-Man adventure. This isn’t the Spider-Man you’ve met or ever seen before. This is an experienced Peter Parker who’s more masterful at fighting big crime in New York City. At the same time, he’s struggling to balance his chaotic personal life and career while the fate of millions of New Yorkers rest upon his shoulders.
Be Spider-Man
After eight years behind the mask, Peter Parker is a crime-fighting master. Feel the full power of a more experienced Spider-Man with improvisational combat, dynamic acrobatics, fluid urban traversal, and environmental interactions. A rookie no longer, this is the most masterful Spider-Man you’ve ever played.
Worlds Collide
The worlds of Peter Parker and Spider-Man collide in an original action-packed story. In this new Spider-Man universe, iconic characters from Peter and Spider-Man’s lives have been reimagined, placing familiar characters in unique roles.
Marvel’s New York is Your Playground
The Big Apple comes to life as Insomniac’s most expansive and interactive world yet. Swing through vibrant neighborhoods and catch breathtaking views of iconic Marvel and Manhattan landmarks. Use the environment to defeat villains with epic takedowns in true blockbuster action.

Well, GOTY Edition was 15 dollars this week. That was a gift. I bought one.
I finally grabbed one. Kinda hard not to at least try it out, when it was only $15. Hopefully i'll enjoy it.
Great. I loved it - hope you will as well :)
this game wont stop selling apperantly
This is why Sony needs to put their differences aside with film Marvel studios and start producing the Marvel games for their console.
The film contract sucked for them due to giving up complete rights and making a smaller profit (although Marvel was footing the bill at that point), but making a deal where they have the rights to Spider-Man and the other films, but Sony has exclusive publishing rights for Marvel games would have been a fair trade (since Disney isn't doing it).
This is one of the main reasons why subsidizing companies can harm the overall brand.
Don't think Disney is much into letting Sony get full control of their IPs for game.
Considering UC4 have been selling great even this far from launch, if SM is doing better, than that will pass 20M before gen ends.
Well, it IS Spider-Man after all.
Name one Spider-Man game that reached 20M in sales.
This thing is hitting 20 mil.
It's only $15 in the US? Nice. Figured it would be $20. I have a couple of friends who picked it up on the BF sale. It's $24.99 up here. I got mine in October, but it was only a bit more at $29.99.
