I don't understand why Omega 5 is doing so poorly. It's really one the best Japanese side-scrolling shooters I played in years and the graphics is some of best available on XBLA. Shame really :(
Banjo Kazooie isn't free as far as I know. It was free for the people who pre-ordered the disc based game.
My DVD died and took the whole system with it :( So I can't even play XBLA games while I wait for my box... good news is that my system also rroded on me so I get it fix for free... and you can do the shit online now w00ted no more calling dumb fucks on the the phone. I need to set it up high... I think maybe my dog hit the DVD try when it was out and that's what caused the problem and he's knocked it over a couple times -_- he's lucky I love him... oh OT: Maw is awesome... good job for the devs

@ Mrstickball Commanders AOG is one of those good games that has under performed. I don't get why it never took off.
Good start for The Maw. I played the demo today and enjoyed it well enough for it to be worth 10 bones. I just have to finish up some of what I'm already playing then I'll probably get it.
Also, Castle Crashers is past 500k, and next week Braid should pass 250k.
XBLA is a veritable goldmine in terms of revenue for good projects.
There have been very few (and I mean very few) 'good' games that have done poorly on the service.
Braid was/is a great example of that. For all analysis, it should have done poorly, being a niche platforming/puzzle title, but it's wound up making JB tons of money. It became profitable around the 70,000 unit area from what I've heard...So that extra 150,000 units sold went straight to profit.
Powerup forever and meteos wars are fairly good games. I think it shows people are sick of two stick shooters and tetris style puzzle games.
I found IGN's XBLA most wanted from 3 years ago. It's funny how many games it predicted. Pretty much everything they released from the middle to top of the list did anywhere from good to great.

Konami and Capcom have lost millions of potential dollars not putting out the side scrolling beat em ups (Turtles in Time, Simpsons, Dungeons and Dragons games, etc). I'm sure there are copyright issues, but someone messed up big time.
