So PS3+360 have sold 173m so far... To surpass that we would need at least 100m for the PS4 and 73m for the X1. I'm confident the PS4 can reach that number, but I'm not too sure about the X1. Maybe the Scorpio can do the trick?

I can't see XBone getting near that number. PS4 is going to have to get to at least 110 million for the gen to have a shot.

PS4+XOne > PS3+X360 because in this gen there isn't a console as Wii

Most of the Wii sales were non-gamers who wouldn't but an additional console anyway. Plus, PlayStation and Xbox weren't even competing with Wii. What we're seeing is an increase in core gamer base, but a loss of wishy washy trend followers who bought a Wii because it was popular.
