The VGChartz Gap charts are updated monthly and each article focuses on a different gap chart. The charts include comparisons between the 7th generation and 8th generation platforms, as well as comparisons within the 8th generation. All sales are worldwide, unless otherwise stated.
PS4 and Xbox One Vs. Wii Global:
Gap change in latest month: 134,941 – Wii
Gap change over last 12 months: 1,456,726 – PS4 and Xbox One
Total Lead: 11,486,260 – PS4 and Xbox One
Total Combined PS4 and Xbox One Sales: 56,654,405
Wii Total Sales: 45,168,145
The gap shrunk in the latest month in favor of the Wii. The gap in the latest month shrunk by 134,941 units. The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One lead by a combined 11.49 million units.
The Wii in its first 27 months sold 45.17 million units, while the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One have sold a combined 56.65 million units.

Come on. I was the one that suggested no.1 and no.2 of both gens to be compared not just the wii. Of course it'll loose. Plz do a cone and ps4 vs wii and ps3 instead. But I guess that would be total domination as well. How about 3ds vs ps4 or ps2 vs ps4. Maybe even wii u and xone vs x360 and ps3
