More than I would ever guess. Steam alone has around 1,159,877 registered copies in a whole year of sales. I guess PS4 has similar numbers. Unless you can't really download the game because of regional restrictions, there's no real reason to wait a whole year to buy the disc (especially now that the download is cheaper).

That's not a lot... and I don't think it's the kind of game with a lot of staying power.
But it's already done good business digitally, so it hardly matters.

All gravy at this point.

For a straight-out adventure game featuring a teenage girl, that is a new franchise not attached to any other property, and has been available digitally months ahead of the physical release, that actually seems like a decent amount of copies to me.

I want to buy it but currently here in Europe its quite overpriced, I was thinking this game is worth about 20 euro so when I see it around that price, I will pick it up (currently its 40)

To say you can pick it up digitally off the store for £14 it's definitely overpriced physically. However it does come with a soundtrack and art book so maybe that's the reason.
