I hope some JRPG manages to reach the Top 10 in 2016, considering the amount of them the PS4 has incoming. Also, will we see GTA V on the Top 10 again in 2016?

lol, what amount... amount of ultra niche games? only final fantasy xv has a chance to enter top 10 (and it will, i think). all other games - no way.

Doubt that a lot will make it to the top10, but a Top20 could end with lots of them, at least persona 5 and StarOcean 5 ould make it there...

Final Fantasy XV will for sure.

It definitely has a chance of top 10 next year again. Definitely top 15. If they released story dlc it definitely will though.

Personally I want to see how FFXV and Persona stack up against these ones.

Why? People vote with their wallets... nobody forced them to buy BF. It's actually a fun game, tough it is bare bones, I can agree with that.

The list is not surprising. All popular IPs on the dominant console. Luckily there is enough of the pie for the rest of the smaller, more creative developers.

@hunter_alien It makes me sad because Star Wars Degradedfront shits on the graves of the old Star Wars Battlefront games. It's bad enough that Sony funded advertising for the game.

hunter_alien kooltrex (on 06 February 2016)

@KLAMarine: content wise true, gameplay wise it is not. The game is far more refined then any other BF game before it. If somebody didnt jump into it from the getgo, I would wait for the inevitable GOTY edition, but even so, the game itself is a treat if you like mp centric games.

I have to disagree here. The previous battlefronts had classes and every class had a role to play. This was also true in space battles (which have been removed in EA's battlefront), all the ships had different roles to play. In EA's version, you run around and kill other players or fly around and blow other ships up and that's about it. You can unlock heroes or whatever but they're OP killing machines so if you're infantry, might as well not even fight back. In the previous battlefronts, you could fight back so if you were skilled enough, you could take out a darth vader or luke skywalker or at least do considerable damage. Also, regenerating health. If you're hurt, just take cover and heal. Contrast this to old BFs where you had to seek out repair bots or an engineer teammate who was good at identifying hurt mates would hit you with a health pack.

And of course, CoDBO3 is the highest seller. Beating out number 2 by 4 whole million. Hopefully some day the bizarre hype around CoD games dies out.

Every game is a part 3 or 2015 edition or a different sub-name edition. So nothing new or original at all...

not surprised by the top 5. no real gamers out there anymore...thats the reason bloodborne's not even listed (didn't sell) i was quite surprised. "WE" as gamers love rehashed content...all CoD is are bunch of new maps every year smh!

  • -1
Skratchy iinglish (on 05 February 2016)

Yeah, if this was the ten best selling exclusives, that would be a different story. Think Bloodborne was second or third highest after The Nathan Drake collection.
