Allison Road Kickstarter Cancelled, Partnership Announced With Publisher Team17 - News

Lilith, the developer behind upcoming horror game Allison Road, has cancelled its Kickstarter for the game.

Unlike most cancelled Kickstarter projects, however, this is good news; the project has been cancelled in order to pave the way for a partnership with publisher Team17.

Team17 is of course most well-known for developing and publishing the Worms franchise, but in recent years it has made strides to becoming a major indie publisher. Other fledgling projects Team17 has helped out in this respect include The Escapists, Beyond Eyes, and Yooka-Laylee.

This is what a partnership looks like, they're not holding their hands out to gamers for more money, that's what it is to back a developer. Good job team 17.
