The Rare of today isn't the one that made all of those awesome games, Banjo included. That team is now working on a new Banjo like game on Kickstarter.
That team developing Yooka-Laylee also made Kameo, BnK Nuts n Bolts, Conker Live and Reloaded, Viva PiƱata and Perfect Dark Zero. Those games were critizised from the very pepeople who are looking forward to Yooka-Laylee.. funny world we live in.
^^Yup,Double standards
Yooka-Laylee steal the show!!! sorry they are already in the hype train chou chou!
Yooka-Laylee will steal a lot of potential attention from whatever game this'll be.
The announcement right now of their new project is a pretty transparent attempt at trying to steal attention back from Yooka-Laylee.
If it's Banjo-Kazooie, it better be really good or Yooka-Laylee could steal most of its thunder.
How many e3's have passed that we heard the same? It's been more than a decade since they even cared to make a decent game so what can anyone expect from them is really beyond me.
Kameo was a good game. Viva Pinata 1/2 as well if you liked the genre. Hell even Banjo Nuts and Bolts was a quality game. Different, but a good game regardless.
Never a fan of this game, sorry guys XD, but would love to see some good old-classic came to life :). Tho with all the hypes surrounding Yooka-Laylee lately, i dont think this game is gonna steal the show like it was suppose to be.
People just love pretending to remind us that Rare today isn't what it used to be. Yes, we are all surprised to hear this news!
Seriously, if they at least attempt to go back to their open-world platform roots, then thats great!
Ugh, you journalists and your FIXATION with Rare, I just DON'T GET IT...
You are worshiping a GHOST. The INCREDIBLE game developer from the 90's is LONG DEAD.
Today's Rare is a mediocre developer that will most likely just be like "Oh here's new Banjo cause... dunno, cause we saw Yooka-Laylee"
Imagine a band called "The Beatles" but w/o John, Paul, George and Ringo.
I'm sorry, but today's Rare isn't really THE Rare... and I just don't get why even people make so much noise over a company living off the success story of the Stamper brothers over 10 years ago, but are ok to give other mediocre developers so much crap, but Rare? They KEEP getting a free pass and I just don't get it.
Yooka-Laylee steal the show!!! sorry they are already in the hype train chou chou!
I would love for Yooka-Laylee to be shown directly across the show floor from Rare and steal all their attention;D
Any chance of a Raredemption is gone. The rare team aren't the same one we know and love from the great games of yesteryear.
Viva Pinata 3 or no dice!
