Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire Biggest Launch in the UK for a Pokémon Game - News

Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire has set a franchise record in the UK. The game has had the biggest launch in franchise history, according to Chart-Track. The game managed to outsell last years Pokémon X/Y launch by 17 percent.
The previous record holder in the UK for best Pokémon launch was Pokémon Black/White for the original DS in 2011. Despite the new record the game launched in 6th and 7th spot on the UK charts. Pokémon Omega Ruby debuted in 6th, while Pokémon Alpha Sapphire debuted in 7th.
