WiiU very well may keep Xbox one at bay most if not all generation. Great job Nintendo! I got my PS4 in January and last weekend my wife talked me into getting a WiiU! I gotta say I like the gamepad a bit more than I thought I would. Not that it's the greatest controller or anything but giving my kid the ability to keep playing or watch Netflix on another tablet in the house while I do something else on the TV is pretty dang nice.

Wii U still hasn't been adjusted.

Holiday will be interesting, WiiU will likely sell more, but it will fluctuate.

It's good to see WiiU's sales doing better, despite the sales dropping since mid August.

That said, Nintendo really needs to get publishers on board and get multiplatform games back. No matter how good any companies games are, the fact of the matter is you have to have the multiplatform retail releases to fill the gaps and drive software sales. Without that, sales of the hardware won't stay up because people will be looking elsewhere to get the big retail titles.

They also need to expand their online features on both WiiU and 3DS as well as increase connectivity. One of the biggest drawbacks for Nintendo platforms is the lack of a proper account system with cross buy on all VC games, the lack of on screen notifications, the lack of game invites/game joining, and the lack of cross game/system chat. They need to modernize their online to compete, otherwise, even if they were to put out the most powerful system on the market, people aren't going to buy it do to the lack of basic features that all other devices have these days regardless if they're game devices or not.

Wii U isn't doing too well. They're going to lose every week to xbox one from here on out.

Uh Xbox didn't win despite the Madden bundle and Hyrule Warriors comes out tomorrow and Smash Bros to come. Pretty sure WiiU is going to be doing just fine.

WiiU needs to be adjusted still, surprised it hasn't happened yet. Shipment gap was 1.1m end of June.
