The best compliment someone could give to Lair of the Leviathan is saying that you'll have a smile on your face from the beginning until the credits stop rolling.
With a quick recap, Guybrush continues his quest to end the "pox of Le Chuck", inside a huge manatee. Together with Morgan LeFlay and Captain Winslow, Threepwood will meet famous adventurer Coronado De Cava and help him in his search of La Esponja Grande.
Funny lines are everywhere in this one and you won't be moving great distances for nothing, unlike the first two episodes. The best puzzle is a bit reminiscent of Wallace & Gromit - Fright of the Bumblebees, but awesome nonetheless.
The environment is not as varied as in Siege of Spinner Kay, but are still interesting and different from the common tropical setting. It must be noted that unlike the technical disaster that Siege of Spinner Kay was, the sound quality this time is once again great.
Lair of the Leviathan shows that Telltale can still make Tales of Monkey Island a great series and not just a good one, mixing old favorites with new characters.
