Kai Master (on 12 August 2011)
34M BB sold, this game would have sold 34M+ units if no Plus, biggest succes ever even betting Pokemon games
axumblade (on 31 December 2010)
@bigjon, it's because they discontinued wii fit and released wii fit plus.
bigjon (on 24 December 2010)
weird graph... It is one huge hill then just flat... Would be WELL of 30 million right now had Nintendo not release +
spurgeonryan (on 13 December 2010)
So I assume unlike other wii games that since there is a new one out this is not for sale anymore? So this game sold for 80 dollars a piece then the BB sold fo another 50 dollars a piece!! Wow!4-5 billion in sales between wii Fit and plus combined, including all the periphreals needed for it..
Kai Master (on 03 May 2010)
Only Pokemon RGB on GB did better!
Kai Master (on 03 May 2010)
The game now stands at 29.07M unists sold with a 55% BB, or a 41.1% userbase.
Nintendogamer (on 08 April 2010)
Nearly 30M balance board sold, very funny yet amazing.
Kai Master (on 11 February 2010)
Nintendo : "Because the original Wii Fit has sold 22.56 million units worldwide, this means that there are now more than 28 million Wii Balance Boards sold."
fukudalakasone (on 30 January 2010)
RIP Wii Fit... : (
Kai Master (on 29 January 2010)
how many sold would it be if you add sales of wii fit plus with balance board?
pokeclaudel (on 22 January 2010)
Wow 1 of every 3 wii owner have a this.
haxxiy (on 13 January 2010)
Not bad sales at all! I hope Nintendo releases a Plus version to Mario Kart too.
Cheebee (on 13 December 2009)
This + WFP combined have almost sold 30 million now... O_O
kopstudent89 (on 06 December 2009)
Wii Fit! you will be missed!
Aidman (on 02 December 2009)
It will end by selling almost 10Millions in this year which made it the best selling game for two years WOAW.
ramonecaxa (on 27 November 2009)
Is dying slowly =o.
Killergran (on 22 November 2009)
@Killergran - Actually, it was around 60 weeks. More than a year in top 5! And a fair number of first places as well!
Killergran (on 22 November 2009)
@Faxanadu, I think it broke 30 weeks in top 5. That is not bad. Not bad at all. Only game to rival that would be Wii Sports, I figure.
Faxanadu (on 23 October 2009)
Adios, my good old friend. You have been a steady Top 5 for me since a long time.
primogen18 (on 02 October 2009)
wow, it seriously jumped in America and Others...
Nintendogamer (on 25 September 2009)
Passed 22 million, wooohooo.
Nintendogamer (on 20 September 2009)
wii fit plus will sell like hot cup cakes like hell, over 7 million before the year ends and considering it's only 17.99 and $19.99, there's nothing going to stop it.
marcianito (on 20 September 2009)
I wonder if wii fiit and wii fit plus sales will be counted together??
Buzzi (on 19 September 2009)
23 m before WF+?
Killergran (on 28 August 2009)
I wonder. Selling 100k per week is not bad, but it's a huge from the 300k per week it used to sell.

What Wii Fit Plus does will be really interesting. Should that game's sales count together with Wii Fit's? It will essentially replace it, is what I heard. Or should that be counted completely seperate?
Khuutra (on 22 August 2009)
So we're thinking this might top out at 25 million or so? Maybe?
PowerOn (on 14 August 2009)
Just brought it and I love it. Man, Yoga is sure killing my feet and yet, I feel better.
Killergran (on 27 July 2009)
Sales are dropping like a stone. A lightweight stone with a parachute
Naum (on 25 July 2009)
WSR plays on the exact same island as this game.
Killergran (on 13 July 2009)
Gearbox, define 'gets'. Is that revenue or profit? I'd say that the revenue is a bit higher than $25, as that is below what a regular game gets. And $25 as profit seems a bit too high. That would mean $500 million in profits on Wii Fit.
Gearbox (on 12 July 2009)
nintendo probably only gets 25 dollars from each one sold
leo-j (on 11 July 2009)
So guys how has your experience with wii fit been
Fleeman (on 11 July 2009)
those are crazy sales considering the game cost $90, almost 2 billion dollars. it might not be the best selling game of all time but it might just be the highest grossing
Wii_Master (on 10 July 2009)
jmcraddock agreed and now that they are releasing it they shouldn't bundle it with wii balance board in which case new customers who want wii fit plus must buy wii fit to get balance board....that would be a smart thing...
videoboy (on 10 July 2009)
Wii Fit plus will be:

1. Wii Fit Plus game CD only: 2000 japan Yen (this CD includes the old games in Wii Fit and new games in Wii Fit plus)

2. Wii Fit plus game CD + Wii balance board: 9800 japan Yen
Samus Aran (on 03 July 2009)
I don't think wiifit+ will come bundled with balance board, so everyone buying wii fit+ still needs to buy wii fit. Atleast, that would be a smart thing to do. Anyway, this is going to out sell ps3 lol.
jmcraddock (on 02 July 2009)
This couldve got to 30mil if nintendo didnt decide to make a Wiifit PLUS!
SJGohan3972 (on 30 June 2009)
@SaviorX, that is a freaking awesome way to look at it - and Wii Fit plus probably cost them peanuts to add onto Wii Fit and will enlongate the Balance Board's popularity even further.
Naum (on 29 June 2009)
1200 SEK? damn... don't tell me it was at the store: GAME?
Killergran (on 24 June 2009)
I saw it in a store today for 1200 SEK, roughly $150 USD. Ouch.
invetedlotus123 (on 24 June 2009)
It has real chances of 30 million, it could even pass Pokemon!
Aidman (on 23 June 2009)
I think this is inevitable Wii Fit Will Surpass PS3 sales this fall.
SaviorX (on 23 June 2009)
According to my rough estimates, Wii Fit is at $2.05 billion revenue now.

If Nintendo is smart financially, this one "game" can cover their next systems ENTIRE R&D.
volrath50 (on 22 June 2009)
Nice to see a peripheral have a good enough install base to build games around.
Aidman (on 18 June 2009)
20 Millions goin' to catch the PS3 lol.
Killergran (on 14 June 2009)
It will outsell the gamecube, but will it outgross the gamecube? Anyone have any idea of how much revenue the Gamecube generated?
Cheebee (on 13 June 2009)
Whoa whoa what?! :O This game has sold almost 2 million copies since I last checked, it's selling even faster than I realized...

Good god, almost 20 million in a little over a year, man...

@ Killergran - Oh, hey yeah, I didn't realize that, but here in Europe we actually pay loads more than people in the US do. Loads. That's so unfair. I mean I knew we were paying more, but 30 US Dollars is a LOT.
Killergran (on 12 June 2009)
@Spurgeonryan - Wii Fit sells for around 120 USD in europe. So I'd say a bit more than 1.6 Billion in revenue is to be expected.
spurgeonryan (on 11 June 2009)
20 million copes equals over 1.6 billion in sales for nintendo. yeah PS and Micro have a ways to go. EA, jillian and golds aren't doing to shabby either!
Kenka (on 08 June 2009)
20'000 K very soon.
outlawauron (on 08 June 2009)
Now that Wii Fit can be found anywhere in America. I went ahead and bought one.
NintendoMan (on 23 May 2009)
The sales are incomprehensible. This is downright scary.
volrath50 (on 22 May 2009)
It sells 200k+ a week, and I STILL never see it in stores. I bought mine on eBay a while ago. Heh. I've only ever once seen it in a store since it launched, and they only had one of it.

Pretty fun, hopefully the balance board gets better use in the future though.
FootballFan (on 22 May 2009)
my god this still sells 200k+ every week!
The Ghost of RubangB (on 21 May 2009)
Do pictures of people playing the game count as screenshots?
super_etecoon (on 21 May 2009)
//I really wish this game had more unlockables...or at least gave you something for reaching your goal.
Trent (on 19 May 2009)
Beat Wii Sports This Week
Lolcislaw (on 18 May 2009)
This will outsell PS3 soon...
Naum (on 18 May 2009)
Damn this game now have an attach rate of 38.5%
invetedlotus123 (on 17 May 2009)
10 million for others and 10 million for america, 4 million japan 'til the end of year.
SJGohan3972 (on 10 May 2009)
still try to play every morning, if only to keep that bitch from yelling at me when I miss a day or two :)
Naum (on 05 May 2009)
Oyvoyvoyv that sounded like joke :-)

last week attach rate 85% 200k wii sold 170k Fit sold...
SaviorX (on 03 May 2009)
I had the thought that a game like this could've saved the Dreamcast of something. It is just so huge.

In a 3 weeks it'll hit 19m and in 7 weeks it will pass 20m. People want to get "fit" for the summer.
Oyvoyvoyv (on 29 April 2009)
Wow... This game is failing hard in sales now. Dissapointing.
xax (on 26 April 2009)
18.26 million
*whistle*
dark_gh0st_b0y (on 23 April 2009)
i prefer to play this than normal exercise

and btw, the muscle workouts really work : P

yoga is awesome

no wonder how this game is so popular
Cheebee (on 17 April 2009)
OMG 18 million already? :o This game's legs are insanely insane! Wonder when it'll pass PS3. XD
waron (on 15 April 2009)
it wouldn't be insane to say that it will hit 40-43mln LTD sales right?
boxydancer (on 13 April 2009)
The anger this game elicits from some people makes me love it even more.
atma998 (on 08 April 2009)
18 millions!
dark_gh0st_b0y (on 08 April 2009)
naruto3336
Wii fit is for people who think they are over-weight or out of shape. It is not meant for a true gamer but rather a person who has nothing better to do

NO WAY, i'm very underweight and i use Wii Fit for exercise, and fun at the same time!

YOGA rules btw!
naruto3336 (on 05 April 2009)
@ Jumpin

Wii fit is for people who think they are over-weight or out of shape. It is not meant for a true gamer but rather a person who has nothing better to do. MadWorld and No More Heroes are more gamer-like games and thus are better than this. This does not deserve the sales it is getting. I do not really care if it sells more, it should at that point. I just think that the people that are buying this game or already have the game and are over 17 should look at the other games that this console has to offer. No More Heroes and MadWorld.
naruto3336 (on 04 April 2009)
Passed Gta san andreas, wii play is next.
SleepWaking (on 03 April 2009)
congrats passing San Andreas
Aidman (on 02 April 2009)
Catchin' GTA San Andreas this week.
dark_gh0st_b0y (on 02 April 2009)
i really like Wii Fit, really enjoyable, even without blood, guns or aliens
TopCat8 (on 02 April 2009)
Blah blah blah "buy Madworld. Support hardcore games on the Wii." "Wii Fit is crap". Quit hating just because Nintendo knows how to make money. I'm not saying Wii Fit is good or bad. I've never played it. I don't see why there's any reason to be upset because it's selling so well though.
famousringo (on 01 April 2009)
The more it makes people cry, the more I like Wii Fit.
whacker41 (on 31 March 2009)
at first i was happy that this sold so well, but this is getting ridiculous. When a average game like this sells over 300k in its 69th week while fantastic games like madworld only sell 30k in it's second, it pisses me off.

Seriously, this has to die, now.
dizzydee_011 (on 30 March 2009)
"While No More Heroes and MadWorld carry mature ratings; that clearly does not describe the people who actually play them."

So first so imply that people who play those games are immature, but before that you said, "Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that MadWorld is aimed at Comicbook nerds..."

I think someone is being immature around here and it's you.
Jumpin (on 27 March 2009)
While No More Heroes and MadWorld carry mature ratings; that clearly does not describe the people who actually play them.
Jumpin (on 27 March 2009)
Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that MadWorld is aimed at Comicbook nerds who fantasize about steroid pumped psychopathic killers? It's not going to sell a lot; certainly not nearly as much as a game which appeals to a vast audience who enjoys fitness and gaming.

Why Wii Fit is great is because it challenges the user on many levels and is never frustrating.
naruto3336 (on 27 March 2009)
Can everyone do a lot of people a favour? Please stop buying this game and look to new and better games. How about MadWorld? No More Heroes? These games are the ones you want. Not Wii Fit. These sales show how many wii owners are obesed or out of shape. Just stop buying this.
dizzydee_011 (on 27 March 2009)
Dang I can't believe you Wii owners support this game. I bought MadWorld the other day and I checked it up here and only 70,000 sold so far. Meanwhile this sells almost a million it's first week.
justinian (on 27 March 2009)
I believe as long as the wii sells well, wii fit will also sell well.

It can eventually outsell the PS3, even if for a short time.

Damn, even the x360 could be threatened.
Araknie87 (on 27 March 2009)
For June will be 20 Million, maybe. XD
boxydancer (on 26 March 2009)
NPD isn't always right. But who cares, anyway? The sales are undeniably amazing, in any case.
Chrizum (on 23 March 2009)
Wii Fit is on track to outsell the PS3. If I said that 2 years ago, I would be locked up.
Killergran (on 23 March 2009)
Awards Wii Fit have or is going to win:
*Highest grossing game
*Best selling unbundled game
*Best selling Wii game
*Best selling unbundled game 2009
*Highest unbundled attatch ratio this generation
*Highest NPD yearly placement
*Longest unbundled top 5
VGChartz placement
*Bestselling controll

Also nominated for:
*Best selling unbundled game in others
*Most important game of the generation
*Most important system seller

Naturally, Wii Sports is making Wii Fit look bad.
naruto3336 (on 22 March 2009)
so its undertracked huh? i have one word for this games sales.....WOW!
SmokedHostage (on 20 March 2009)
according to NPC, this is undertracked in NA.
Nintendogamer (on 20 March 2009)
Wii fit rocks don't you dare say you hate it XD
fukudalakasone (on 20 March 2009)
Almost has surpassed GTA: San Andreas on PS2.

Mario Kart Wii should also follow suit (eventually) to form the elite 3 of Wii console games that have surpassed what used to be the greatest selling console game of all time in GTA: SA...
famousringo (on 19 March 2009)
But Wii Fit likes you... :-(
sabby_e17 (on 19 March 2009)
i hate this.
llewdebkram (on 18 March 2009)
Now at 17 million, released under a year ago in USA and EU and still selling quarter of a million a week!
Aidman (on 13 March 2009)
Wii are what Wii is, Wii are Wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiizzzzzzzzzzz
famousringo (on 09 March 2009)
You said it headshot. I beat Jackknife Challenge with 50 reps last night. And to think 10 reps used to give me cramps.

To quote myself: Leveling up in fitness is awesome!
headshot91 (on 08 March 2009)
this owns!
megaman79 (on 08 March 2009)
It is quite ironic, the possibility that the best selling games of this generation represent the very oppositite of traditional gaming culture. Geeks replaced by athletes. Olds replacing kids. None of it makes much sense.
megaman79 (on 08 March 2009)
This has to be the fastest selling game in history. It is also the most expensive.

Amazing
Naum (on 07 March 2009)
Well only a fool would think that this game won't be the most sold game in 2009 :-)
PullusPardus (on 07 March 2009)
Good to see people wanna get fit instead of lazy fatasses.

Bad to see this considered a game, and makes other actual games sell less.
shizzlee (on 26 February 2009)
Finally found this :D
shrimpy_boy11 (on 26 February 2009)
16 million!!!!!

Wowzaaaaa!
Cheebee (on 12 February 2009)
I was in an electronics store yesterday and there were like 20 Wii Fits just sitting there. I swear, honest to God. And I've seen signs and stuff all over the place around town saying Wii Fit's 'back in stock'. Must've been some major shipment or something. Never seen that before. :p
Red4ADevil (on 10 February 2009)
These are just as hard to find as wiis its insane..
Faxanadu (on 09 February 2009)
now that spring approaches, people want to get rid of those extra X-mas pounds to look good in mating-time.

Go figure.
Paul (on 08 February 2009)
Wii fit beat the Xbox360 and PS3 combined by 50,000 units this week and it's still sold out everywhere I look. That's absolutely incredible.
Louie (on 04 February 2009)
Well the Balance Board surely helps selling the game.

If you want to play Shaun White, Skate it or Rayman Raving Rabbids 3 you have to buy this.

I wouldn't consider this to be not fair, though. The Balance Board is some kind of mini-console and selling your game through the support of other games is just a really clever tactic.
Khuutra (on 04 February 2009)
Did this game just sell half a million units in the third week of January?

How is that even possible?
Aidman (on 03 February 2009)
insane Wii Fit for January 2009 !!
Lolcislaw (on 02 February 2009)
Wow i really start to believe that Wii Fit will outsell PS3 lifetime it will have an insane attach rate, plus its still sold out in many places.
tarheel91 (on 29 January 2009)
@Shrimpy: IIRC, NPD is just the US, while VGChartz NA is all of North America (add 10% to NPD's). This makes them much, much closer, and you can't really call either over or undertracked.
shrimpy_boy11 (on 27 January 2009)
Naruto -

You just said NPD..Remember NPD is just America, not worldwide. Which Vgchartz has at 5.41 to NPD's 4.5 (as you said). So you mean overtracked by 900k-ish.

naruto3336 (on 27 January 2009)
I think that this game is really overtracked. If you look at IGN's NPD sales numbers they say it sold around 4.5 million units so far. That means this game is seriously overtracked by over 10 million units. IDK which one is right or not but I think the average of both would be wise ;)
bigjon (on 27 January 2009)
@chibo

or people who dont want to be fat...

considering it holds like 350 max (am I tight) the morbidly obese people cannot use this.
Paul (on 26 January 2009)
This thing outsold the PS3 by 90000 units in others this week. I would say that it will be the best selling game of 2009 and maybe 2010. I have yet to see it in a store. Just incredible.
pimpcoop (on 21 January 2009)
This is the first game that I see sell well over over the World
Cheebee (on 20 January 2009)
Whoa, nearly 15 million already? :o I remember a short while ago when it just passed 11 million! :o
EdEN (on 20 January 2009)
All in all a great game. I've been using it for 3-5 times a week since launch (except for a month in August due to an injury and 3 weeks in december due to the holidays) and it's a fun way to workout.

My family is responsible for 3 purchases. I got mine at launch, my brother just bought one for himself as an end of the year gift and my little sister got a Wii on december with Wii Play and Wii Fit.
--OkeyDokey-- (on 16 January 2009)
@ chibo

Because only fat people excercise, right?
dark_gh0st_b0y (on 14 January 2009)
my mom is not fat....
chido (on 13 January 2009)
this is for fat people
naruto3336 (on 12 January 2009)
EVERYONE WHO HAS THIS GAME BUY NO MORE HEROES!!!
arsenal009 (on 12 January 2009)
I just got this game for christmas. It really does improve my posture O_o
And it's really fun too!
Green Penguin (on 09 January 2009)
I heard this game was very hard to find but yet I got one today. I started looking for it on wednesday. 3 days. can't be to hard. Anyway whoever is looking for this game I got a buddle at circuitcity.com and their is more in stock so if you are reading this and want it go now why you can!
wiisley64 (on 09 January 2009)
Finally got this game I've been searching for it for months
brute (on 05 January 2009)
Just like MKWii, this has a shot to cross 10 million in 2 regions.
kopstudent89 (on 05 January 2009)
btw i'm 19
kopstudent89 (on 05 January 2009)
I have this game :D i cant believe i finally have it
:')
first age was 20... second time i got a 42, didnt save that though :P
DavidValbu (on 04 January 2009)
It is totally sold out in Spain. It should outsell San Andreas within few months.
Hegarol2 (on 04 January 2009)
@Khuutra
Thats pretty much a given. Why should it stop selling?
Khuutra (on 04 January 2009)
All right...

Anyone want to take bets on when Wii Fit will outsell San Andreas, even including the Xbox version?
MontanaHatchet (on 03 January 2009)
Passed 3 million in Japan.
TheConduit (on 30 December 2008)
Ive got to say Ive seriously lost weight since I started using this.
Plus Shaun White Snowboarding and skate it are great.
Can see why it sells so well.
famousringo (on 29 December 2008)
Leveling up in fitness is awesome.
Zucas (on 29 December 2008)
OMG is this game hard for me to play. Ever since my ankle surgeries it is fucking hard to keep a good balance but I prevailed. My age is 20 on my first Body test when I'm 18 so yep. And I did the push up one and passed with flying colors. But I like playing the games and doing the cardio more than anything.

But my right ankle is just so destroyed that I don't know if I'll be able to play this as religiously as I might like.
pichu_pichu (on 28 December 2008)
I found one... I was in the right place at the right time. :-D
shizzlee (on 27 December 2008)
What the hell? I can never find this game in a store.
Naum (on 27 December 2008)
wondering that myself aswell, even Oprah? gonna check youtube, they put everything on there :-)
alfredofroylan (on 27 December 2008)
@SmokedHostage
I saw it at Ellen's show. Was promoted on Oprah too??
SmokedHostage (on 26 December 2008)
I would like to thank Oprah for promoting this product and Miyamoto producing this product. Not since Pokemon has a new Nintendo IP sold so erradically.
Naum (on 26 December 2008)
At Khuutra: Pretty big I think.
bigjon (on 26 December 2008)
your a lucky man scottie : )

to add I am glad to see that MK was able to be the best selling game of 08 : )

I am happy for the success of this game, but MK has so much history and a connection to my childhood.
Khuutra (on 26 December 2008)
What are the chances that Wii Fit is supply constrained right now?
RCTjunkie (on 26 December 2008)
I hate seeing me die on the tightrope game! :(
scottie (on 24 December 2008)
Just got this, Shaun White and RRR:TV party for christmas :D
Onimusha12 (on 24 December 2008)
I love seeing games like this put doubters in their place.
*~Onna76~* (on 22 December 2008)
Finally got the Balance Board and the US version of Wii Fit and must say... its great. Especially Yoga is good for me since I have a lot of pain in my muscles due to the weather and physical problems. Now to get Skate it and Shaun White Snowboarding :-)
SJGohan3972 (on 20 December 2008)
I love this game, a buddy of mine just finally got it so I got back into it more and have been hitting it about an hour each day for a week, man I love it and it makes me feel good - hmm maybe I'm tired all the time because I just lay around like a lump :)
Zucas (on 20 December 2008)
FINALLY. I was able to get a copy. Makes me happy. Now I can get Shaun White and Skate it and Rayman.
Killergran (on 19 December 2008)
12 million, and 5 million in others.
MontanaHatchet (on 18 December 2008)
Bigjon: Yeah, there were people calling it a flop all over when it had first week sales of 730k before that. Oh, wait...
Kenka (on 14 December 2008)
Looks like it surpassed GTA IV sales combined...
alexf10 (on 08 December 2008)
the bb is great, wiifit....not so much

for the last 3 days i play shaun white with the bb and its so much fun.
bigjon (on 08 December 2008)
lols at the thought some people were calling it a flop when it only sold 45k week 3 in NA... lol
FPSrules (on 08 December 2008)
this won't stop selling cause ppl are going to believe if they do this, they lose weight. 50 million anyone?
Batman...WTF? (on 07 December 2008)
What happens when an unstoppable force like this meets an immovable object?
Zucas (on 07 December 2008)
Ugh I wish people would stop buying it so I could get it. Need the balance board for Shaun White and Skate It.
Killergran (on 04 December 2008)
I would not at all be surprised if we see shortages of Wii Fit next week, at least in the americas. Then again, I would not have guessed it was possible for this game to sell 600k in a single week...
Khuutra (on 04 December 2008)
Holy Mary, this thing is unstoppable. Will it ever stop selling? Where could that possibly be? 25 million? More?
Aidman (on 04 December 2008)

SaviorX (on 03 December 2008)

In NA alone (386k), it outsold Week 5 worldwide. Unbelievable sales.

Holy mother of God, 11 million already, could hit 12 next week. Insane.

Zucas (on 18 November 2008)
Looks like I'm going to have to buy this game if I want to enjoy Shaun White or Skate It. Guess it's not all that bad.
Danielsan (on 17 November 2008)
It will be impossible to find a wii fit for christmas.. As I read on http://wiifitness.weebly.com/, the only option left is proably ebay..
dude17761991hatp (on 13 November 2008)
It's going to run the risk of beating the Wii install base...it could happen.

fIRST we heard the "who is going to by the WII? HD gaming is the future! The Wii is a fad!" Where is the WII now 34 mil and counting and just under 4 mill from topping both HD systems combined. Enter the Wii Fit, the naysayers were loud again. "Who would buy an $90 game just to exercise? #90 is way to much for a add on item??" FF yo todau and the FIT and EII itself are the hardest buys world wide. The Fi will break 10mil in it'sn 13/14 week with Thankgiving in the 15th week 11 mil night be shattered also. This from a gane that was "having shortages!" It could be the best selling Wii game of year and maybe the best selling game for all exclusive title in all regions combined. Wii Fit The dark horse that that is going for the tripler crown.
bob smith (on 02 November 2008)
...yeah that really doesn't make sense

More than 1 billion dollars gone towards Wii Fits, what a beast.
Zucas (on 31 October 2008)
Ninty confirmed 8.75 million shipped as of the end of September 2008 while we had it at about 8.3 million which means we are about dead on with this title considering sellouts have been mentioned.

Obviously shipments have been increasing as it's setting record numbers in October.
SaviorX (on 31 October 2008)
Last time I checked, it was 9.02m, then it just jumped to 9.32.

!!!!! is right!

This'll do 1 million in the last week leading up to Christmas. Just watch.
WiiBox3 (on 23 October 2008)
Oh and US finally passed Japan.
WiiBox3 (on 23 October 2008)
@Zucas - I agree. If Nintendo supplied more they could easily sell a ton more over the holidays since they are always sold out (at least in the US). Unfortunately Nintendo is very consevitave about increasing production of hardware (Wii, Balanceboard, Wheel) so they limit how much they can sell.

I don't think they mind making people wait to buy their products until the exchange rate for US Dollar and Euro to increase compared to the Yen.
SmokedHostage (on 23 October 2008)
9 million... :)
Zucas (on 23 October 2008)
9 million
Zucas (on 22 October 2008)
The thing is how much can it really sell extra in the holidays. I mean it'll be dependent on how much extra Ninty produces because this isn't like a normal game as a peripheral is along with it. Nor is it some cheap plastic mold like in Link's Crossbow Training or MK Wii which can mass produced easily.

I mean selling on average about 300k-350k a week on normal weeks that would mean about 700k-1000k in a peak holiday weak but I don't think Ninty would be able to get that much out haha. But this might easily be the biggest holiday title not only on Wii but possibly in gaming haha. But definitely well over 11 million by the end of the year. I'm seeing about just under 12 million by the end of the year with multiple weeks over 500k during big holiday weeks.
Neos (on 22 October 2008)
my mom loves it! uses it every single day
SSSBOLIMAR (on 22 October 2008)

kopstudent89 (on 22 October 2008)
13 million is plausable:S
Killergran (on 21 October 2008)
. . .
I just had the weirdest thought. This game could very well do 12 million before the year is over. It's unlikely, perhaps, but it could do. If not, I'm going to blame supply issues.

Btw, 12 million was my pre-others/americas-release estimate on end of '09 sales. And I thought I was being generous...

A little advice, sseing that this game is as hot as it has ever been. I hope I can give you guys a better chance to get WII fit. The only way to increase your odds is to be the early bird. The early bird always get the good stuff, plus with this game beibg so popular, early people that don't want it buy it because they know it is must get title. There is 2 days of the week that one would have to wake up early. (Sunday & Wednesday)
Sun is circular startup, if you see it advertised the odds are in your favor that they WILL have them in stock. ed is another good day becase most games get released on this day. But remember this, if they do get a shipment chances are they are all gone during the first hr. Early birds like myself are alwats happier because I was able to get it on launch day.

One last piece of advice, know store openining so you can give yourself better odds. EX: BB opens at 7am, target at 8 abd CC at 9. Just figure out the quikest root and yiu will have a fighting chamce.
GOOD LUCK my fellow gamers.
Untouch (on 23 August 2008)
Lucky 6 mil people who bought :(
sparkit34 (on 22 August 2008)
Finally found this game after weeks of searching. Store said i was lucky, they had just received stock a few hours earlier and expected to sell out before the days end. But its funny no matter which store you go to, there is always someone looking for or asking about Wii Fit. Kids especially seem to be going nuts for it.
Anyway got the game. First impressions .... ouch. Played the game for 45 minutes and my body is already aching. The yoga section and the muscle section killed me.
SJGohan3972 (on 22 August 2008)
few more weeks it will pass SMG and then MKWii. I wonder how long it will take to get past WiiPlay...
Faxanadu (on 22 August 2008)
this game just passed SSBB in WW sales. About time.
famousringo (on 18 August 2008)
So this game has a worldwide attach rate of 20% and climbing. I made a prediction that it would hit 30% worldwide and settle down to 25% by the end of the Wii's lifetime. Let's see how it goes.

Games is selling more now than in most weeks following launch in Others, and sales are very supply dependent in the region.

kopstudent89 (on 10 August 2008)
well this is where sales start to go crazy! steadying at around 200-250 k a week, very impressive for a game with such a high price

megaman79 (on 01 August 2008)
only 30 thousand in japan this week. Is it peaking after 2 1/2 months
Killergran (on 31 July 2008)
The 3.42 million Wii Fit was this quarter, not Life-to-date numbers. Fits much better with VGChartz numbers.

Did Ninty say in it's reports that Wii Fit only sold 3.42 million units worldwide since launch!?

10 million in sales by the end of the year. easily. only 4 million to go with a Cmas still ahead.

It will be interesting to see where is stops in Japan. My gut tells me 3.5 to 4 million.

its gonna drop gain, i bet
super_etecoon (on 07 July 2008)
Ok..this this is completely sold out for at least a 100 mile radius in my area. I went to buy it yesterday...no dice. I think retailers are beginning to hate Nintendo: they have to hire an extra employee just to tell people that there are no Wiis or Wii Fits.

thetonestarr (on 12 June 2008)
Still selling on eBay for >$150. That tells better than anything else that the issue is clearly supply constraints.
rudyrsr8 (on 10 June 2008)
Damn supply must be very severe in EU and NA.
--OkeyDokey-- (on 10 June 2008)
WiiFit has no legs! Fad lololol.

dawve24 (on 06 June 2008)
I still cant buy this in the uk.
trestres (on 05 June 2008)
This would be over each GTA4 version already if it wasn't for the low supply. I think around 200k is what it can sell weekly max, but it will for a looooong period of time.
Sander (on 05 June 2008)
@ tehsage

There's definately a supply issue in Europe. Wii Fit is sold out everywhere with huge waiting lists, at least in the Netherlands (and as far as I know in the UK). The same story for Mario Kart Wii by the way....
Gearbox (on 03 June 2008)
horrible second week sales in america. well good but comapired to opening week
Diglet (on 03 June 2008)
week 1 only had 2 days of sales. Great sales, great game.
WiiBox3 (on 02 June 2008)
Wow, this game does actually give you a workout, esp. the pushups/side planks. Man I didn't know how pore my balance was until I started doing yoga on the balance board. Laugh all you want, but I think this may actually help me improve some aspects of my health. And by the way this is coming from someone that the board considers in the normal BMI range.
Cheebee (on 02 June 2008)
Lol, it has easily surpassed the PS3 version of GTA4 and is on track to beat the 360 version too. :p I wonder how long 'till it outsells both versions combined.
Onimusha12 (on 02 June 2008)
More money in the bank for Nintendo.
pichu_pichu (on 01 June 2008)
I wished I've preordered
rudyrsr8 (on 01 June 2008)
I havent seen Wiifit on shelves here for over a week now.
Alby_da_Wolf (on 30 May 2008)
In Italy last time I checked it was available at one out of three online stores, and orderable with little wait at the others, so neither abundant, nor sold out.
But then Italy is one of the few countries where PS3 is the best seller, with Wii 3rd, but near to catch XB360.
Faxanadu (on 30 May 2008)
In Germany supply seems ok. Saturn had stacks. But then I have no idea about other cities/ markets.
tehsage (on 29 May 2008)
Isn't there a supply problem in Europe?
Alby_da_Wolf (on 29 May 2008)
Hey, in Europe it's fading!!! :-P
Mummelmann (on 29 May 2008)
This was definately a lot less humongous in NA than I thought, right on the money in Eu/Others though. Good to see I'm not the least intelligent user in here just yet... :-P
ClaudeLv250 (on 29 May 2008)
Shiiiiiiiaaaaaat!

This will definitely do 10 million. No doubt about it now.
trestres (on 28 May 2008)
Holy eff! This game almost sold 2 million on its first week WW, and we already know this game is about legs.

10 million by the end of this year.
MontanaHatchet (on 28 May 2008)
Wow, amazing sales across all 3 regions can really rack up to an impressive total.
tombi123 (on 27 May 2008)
This is what gaming has come to... Oh well, I am going to buy it anyway
Explosivo (on 26 May 2008)
Yeah, RubanG. I found it just this day. First it seemed impossible but on my third try I got at 58 seconds :D
So I tried again and got it at 40 seconds something.
rudyrsr8 (on 24 May 2008)
This game actually made me hurt in the morning.
The Ghost of RubangB (on 24 May 2008)
We're gonna need a new game vs. console comparison chart system here for Wii Fit vs. PS360. I wonder when Wii Fit will outsell PS360 combined in Japan.

Anybody here tried the ULTIMATE BALANCE TEST yet? Damn it's hard.
peetee (on 23 May 2008)
In Japan this game will stay in the top 10 for another year. Probably in America too.
Sky Render (on 23 May 2008)
Never underestimate the power of the Touch Generations games. Wii Fit is unlikely to catch up to the PS3 in 2008, but 2009 is a whole other can of worms. And if not 2009, well 2010's looking cheery too.

That aside, I quite like it. It's precise, the games are brief but fun, and it feels like it really gives you incentive to use it.
Killergran (on 22 May 2008)
I'm guessing it will sell around 1m first week in America. And I don't think it will sell more than the PS3, ever. 12m or so by the end of next year is my guess (which means Wii Fit sales would be slightly slower than the PS3 in total).

Can't wait to play it :D
Cheebee (on 21 May 2008)
I do wonder what sales will be like in the US.. :)
MontanaHatchet (on 21 May 2008)
The end has finally arrived!!!

Only 1 more day till the end arrives...
--OkeyDokey-- (on 20 May 2008)
I could imagine some uber casual buying WiiFit, bringing it home, putting the disc in the DVD player and wondering why nothing happens.
MontanaHatchet (on 19 May 2008)
It will probably never sell more than the PS3, we've had several threads on this.
konnichiwa (on 19 May 2008)
So what do you think..Will it sell more at the end of 2008 than PS3? WW?
MontanaHatchet (on 19 May 2008)
I'm looking forward to doing some Push-Ups and Ski Jumping, and maybe some Tightrope Walking, but I might not be a hardcore enough gamer for that ;-)
brawl4life (on 19 May 2008)
can't wait to try the yoga !
MontanaHatchet (on 18 May 2008)
Wii Fit comes with a disc.

Hopefully you can figure out the rest from there.
obieslut (on 18 May 2008)
This is probably a stupid question but do you need a wii to play wiifit because in he commercials you never see the wii console once, just the balance board
rudyrsr8 (on 17 May 2008)
Death of gaming? No the evolution of gaming into mainstream.
MontanaHatchet (on 17 May 2008)
Wii Fit's sales in PAL are incredible considering that it's not even the holiday season. The death of gaming is indeed imminent!
Cheebee (on 16 May 2008)
This game just keeps on selling! :p And it's not even out in the US.. O_o
Crystalchild (on 16 May 2008)
@Leni

cant wait to see the american sales xD .. think, it will reach over 4 million there^^.
TopCat8 (on 14 May 2008)
The only reason for me to buy Wiifit is so I can use the board in future games. I have nothing against casual games, but Wiifit just doesn't look good to me. I could be wrong though.
TWRoO (on 13 May 2008)
I am liking the look of this more and more, it's pulling me in, although the price is still pushing me away, admitedly it is a lot better value than Guitar Hero which is the same price but you can't use the guitar for anything else.

Perhaps when some other games use it well I will buy it, I was thinking of waiting for a price cut but it's likely to stay the same price for a good 2 years at least, so it would be a long wait.
MeowTheMouse (on 11 May 2008)
@wareagle372

not every one (including me) likes GTA and there is nothing wrong with wiifit out selling GTA.

wiifit will out sell GTA in life time sales
Leni (on 10 May 2008)
it's selling to great in europe!! :)
ZuZayLi (on 10 May 2008)
Expect Wii Fit sales top the 5 million for the winter in europe only.
Wii Fit is, for me, like a brand new system. Americans, don't hesitate. This game is not only for big people and we will have some great like rayman, wario ware, we ski (13th may) and an EA game using the balance board.
(eilataN) (on 10 May 2008)
The yoga is my fav! ^^"
--OkeyDokey-- (on 10 May 2008)
The death of gaming is imminent!
wareagle372 (on 09 May 2008)
why the hell is this game saling so well? if this outsells GTAIV, game industry itself will collapse in Wii like hell.
TheBigFatJ (on 09 May 2008)
Wii Fit will have insanesales in America by the end of this year, and its legs will be outrageous.
MANUELF (on 09 May 2008)
@dude
the definition of legs is the original pokemon red/green/blue, if you see the first 10 week sales you probably think never sell a lot.
trestres (on 09 May 2008)
It will Kyros, it will sell better than Japan, and when it gets released in America, damn, it will be out of stock just as the Wii itself.

Cant wait to see the numbers next week.

A beast, nothing less.
dude17761991hatp (on 08 May 2008)
The definition of legs.
Onimusha12 (on 08 May 2008)
Let's hope it does Paul.
WiiBox3 (on 08 May 2008)
Holy crap. This is going to break 2 Mil in Japan next week... Less than 6 months since released....
Kyros (on 07 May 2008)
Nice sales, not exactly the earth shattering industry changing sales some people predicted but more than I thought. I am really curious if it will sell as well in the longrun in Europe as it did in Japan. They do lots of marketing at least for it.
trestres (on 06 May 2008)
Of course it wont outsell PS3. But in Japan it remains a possibility.

When American numbers arrive, Wii fit will jump to 5 million min (if by that time sales are 4m)
MontanaHatchet (on 06 May 2008)
No it really won't.
Paul (on 06 May 2008)
Wii fit will outsell the PS3 over it's lifetime.
shrimpy_boy11 (on 06 May 2008)
hahahaha Rubang! i dont know if i should be scared????

oh and great sales! already at 2.6 plus america to go...
The Ghost of RubangB (on 05 May 2008)
My only pre-order ever.

It is my destiny.

Look forward to more semi-nude photos of me after I get my superhot supertoned Wii Fit body!

Mwahahahahaha!!!

Plaupius (on 05 May 2008)
I bought Wii Fit yesterday, my wife had read about it in a ladies magazine, apparently a boxer woman had tested it and given her recommendations.

We briefly tried it yesterday, and my first impression is actually quite positive, from a health/excercise point of view. I haven't had time to really try out the games other than slalom so I can't comment on the gaming aspect much.
Erik Aston (on 03 May 2008)
I'm really surprised at the major push this game is getting right from launch. It didn't seem like the kind of game to do 1.5M first week, but it looks like it will, and then climb to 5 or 6M pretty quickly!
bigjon (on 02 May 2008)
my parents preordered this game... they have NEVER preordered a game before...
kopstudent89 (on 02 May 2008)
The thing that amazes me is how such an expensive game can sell in EU... unbelievable sales
WiiBox3 (on 01 May 2008)
Already pre-ordered for my girlfriend. She said a lot of the women in her office are talking about it. One of her co-workers heard about it in a Weight watchers class.... Go figure.
headshot91 (on 01 May 2008)
This game is selling for over 100 on ebay! Unbelievable demand and limited supply!
Leni (on 01 May 2008)
wow!! cool start, and sales are still growing in Japan, it will be selling for quite a long time!
Foshoryuken (on 29 April 2008)
I'm iffy on this game. But I know it will outsell anything else across all platroms
bigjon (on 26 April 2008)
will sell 700k week 1 one in others, 500k weeks 2.
Faxanadu (on 26 April 2008)
yaeh baby, just got it. Fitness will rule my life from now on.
NJ5 (on 25 April 2008)
In Sweden it came out today, I just bought it. In which countries is it released tomorrow?
--OkeyDokey-- (on 25 April 2008)
Had no idea it was coming out tomorrow.
So first week.....600k?
Quilex (on 25 April 2008)
I have my copy now, not sure when I will be able to try it as it's a joint present for me & my wife for the middle of next month. Hopefully we will both want to open it over the weekend.
Explosivo (on 24 April 2008)
Yeah, only 2 days left now!
MontanaHatchet (on 24 April 2008)
Not likely, but still, it should do fantastic. Its PAL release draws ever closer, and WF-Day shall soon begin!
Everlast (on 22 April 2008)
I'm guessing 3.5 Million on week one total sales, when its released in NA and Others.
FaRmLaNd (on 22 April 2008)
Just a heads up. I was walking through a local shopping centre (I live in Australia) and I saw a wii fit demonstration stand. Thats the first time I've ever seen anything like that for a single game. Its going to be huge. Nintendo is marketing this perfectly.
guild525 (on 22 April 2008)
This will head strong into the USA and Others..
Joeykanga (on 19 April 2008)
May can't come closer!
Untouch (on 12 April 2008)
1.8 only in Japan.
crymetyme (on 06 April 2008)
i blame wii fit for the recession!

seriously thought, expect this to pass 5 million, considering it still has legs in Japen
Diglet (on 03 April 2008)
This game is holding up well
MontanaHatchet (on 29 March 2008)
I think it will be Others>Japan>America

And perhaps, if more popular in America than expected, Others>America>Japan.
Leni (on 29 March 2008)
OMG.....this game is still selling quite strong since Christmas...and no Eu - USA release yet, how far will it get??
MeowTheMouse (on 28 March 2008)
i think what happened to wii sports will happen here to. This game will sell 10 times more in america
and 7 times in europe
--OkeyDokey-- (on 27 March 2008)
It will be just as successful in America as it has been in Japan.

The fact that it has the Wii brand name on the front cover gaurantees 2 million sales in each region at the very least.

I think it will go: America>Others>Japan.
MontanaHatchet (on 24 March 2008)
In comparison, I say. It could sell 2 million in America for all we know. Yet the main point lies in the fact that it's a casual game, and Brain Training didn't sell as well in one of the world's dumbest nations for its wealth.
MANUELF (on 24 March 2008)
*see the graphics* this game never stop sell?
Sky Render (on 23 March 2008)
That's a good joke, MontanaHatchet. A fitness device doing worse in fitness-device-obsessed America than in Europe or Japan. If you're serious, then something to back up your opinion might be in order.

Oh yes, and since it must be said here eventually: I blame Wii Fit!
MontanaHatchet (on 22 March 2008)
I think that Wii Fit won't be very popular in American compared to Europe or Japan, so let's change it back to the obviously superior boxart.
Vanadium2k8 (on 22 March 2008)
I say we keep the Japanese box art and burn NoA's sob excuse for marketing team.
Faxanadu (on 22 March 2008)
please undo. the box art looks horrendous. original is so much better.
nordlead (on 21 March 2008)
I just updated with the official Wii Fit US boxart
Paul (on 14 March 2008)

tombi123 is preparing himself to eat crow yet once again, this game will be HUGE in Europe.
RCTjunkie (on 29 February 2008)
Wow! This game has the legs of a Boston marathoner.
11ht11 (on 29 February 2008)
NA 12/31/85 release wtf??
stof (on 28 February 2008)
My most anticipated game this year. Can't wait!
bigjon (on 16 February 2008)
I expect more sale from europe on this than from Japan.... Europe eats of casual stuff.
tombi123 (on 15 February 2008)
dont expect many sales from Europe compared to NA and Japan.
Joeykanga (on 15 February 2008)
When is this coming out in America?
Oyvoyvoyv (on 14 February 2008)
WOW! In the 2 months Wii Fit has been out (January + December), it has outsold ALL SOFTWARE on Ps3 COMBINED with 230K!!
bigjon (on 13 February 2008)
...when will it stop... all indications point to this game is still severly supply contrained and selling 75k a week in Japan... it is going to hit 2 million by mid march(around golden week)... We may be looking a 3 million by the summertime... when will it stop...
Man (on 31 January 2008)
i think the best idea is a boxing game, where you lean on the board, and your character leans in the direction. then the wiimote and nunchuck are just used for punching and blocking.
Kasz216 (on 31 January 2008)
wait this is already at a million?
YOli-4 (on 31 January 2008)
This could be a real cool experience to combine excercise and gaming... Using the Wii Fit controler combined with remote an nunchuck.

Imagine an FPS game or an action adventure using FIT for movement and Nunchuck + Remocon simultaneously. Cool!

Daddo Splat (on 29 January 2008)
its not a game its an excercise machine for fat kids and moms. lol ya some games include excercise but I am not playing them to old to tired still I will get it for my fat kids and wife.
famousringo (on 25 January 2008)
Should hit 25% attach rate in Japan next week.

I think this guarantees that Wii Fit will not be the last piece of software for the balance board.
RCTjunkie (on 21 January 2008)
You're wrong, omgwtfbbq; if it was on Oprah, it would sell TRILLIONS!
Christhor (on 20 January 2008)
I have no idea what so ever why people buy this it's not even a game...

Meh I'll just keep playing SMG
Explosivo (on 17 January 2008)
Huh, it didn't get released Jan 10th did it?

1 million, hurray!
Joemanji (on 17 January 2008)
7 weeks after release and still supply constraint... I predict this game will outsell Wii Sports total sales in Japan before the end of the year.

I predict 23 million lifetime.
koopatrooper (on 14 January 2008)
yep
Frozen (on 13 January 2008)

this thing, wii fit, is gonna sell well everywhere.
Mummelmann (on 09 January 2008)
Approaching 70 million now...
cloud_IX (on 09 January 2008)
according to reports its sold 1m (at least to retail)
famousringo (on 09 January 2008)
This monster is coming up on a 20% attach rate and it's sold out.

Where will it stop? 25%? Higher?
Aeros (on 07 January 2008)
When are they gonna come out with DS fit..... heheheh
pichu_pichu (on 07 January 2008)
I think wiifit won't be released in america until Nintendo catches up with demand
Kyros (on 06 January 2008)
I just imagined 900000 japanese making weird acrobatics in front of their TV. You can really sell everything in Japan. I am so curious how well it will do in the rest of the world.
MontanaHatchet (on 06 January 2008)
I predict that it will do well in Europe but not America.
Leni (on 06 January 2008)
it will do well in USA......but not in Europe.......Nintendo needs to increase advertising/promorion in Europe.....!!
Valdens (on 04 January 2008)
Legs.
NintendoTogepi (on 04 January 2008)
So close to 1 million :O
Stats87 (on 03 January 2008)
methinks it will be awhile before this game will be in ample supply in North America. We're gonna see some supply constrains for the first while.
omgwtfbbq (on 03 January 2008)
Nintendo should get Wii Fit on Oprah, it will sell billions
wiifm (on 02 January 2008)
Err, actually I wanted to ask: Is WiiFit really confirmed to be released at 10th January 2008 in North America yet ?
sorikuu (on 02 January 2008)
hi
wiifm (on 01 January 2008)
Is it really confirmed to be released at 10th October 08 in NA yet ? I looked at amazon.com and there is no price info ....

It only says

"Sign up to be notified when this item becomes available. ESRB Rating: Rating Pending"

I wished it would be released in Europe in January. Even though most self acclaimed "serious gamers" laught at it, its for sure a lot of fun to play ....
Frozen (on 01 January 2008)
400k in US 1/10/08
NolSinkler (on 31 December 2007)
I'm probably going to get Wii Fit once it's released in the U.S. Who would pass up the chance to play video games and get in shape at the same time?
loadedstatement (on 30 December 2007)
WiiFit is not slowing down at all, really. I expect it will sell well in all territories. This will sell millions of copies WW.
azrm2k (on 29 December 2007)
I don't know about that Montana. I hate to use the f-word but exercise equipment/routines that get mainstream coverage become very successful fads. Not with the typical gamer crowds but the general population as a whole. With the right PR and marketing support WiiFit should sell millions in the US also. I don't know if i'd go as high as ben and say 10M WW but it looks to be able to do at least 2-3 million in Japan alone (very conservative given that it's currently supply constrained and will hit 1 million in a week or two) so i'm guessing 5-7 million would be a safe bet if not more.
MontanaHatchet (on 28 December 2007)
No, I believe that Japan was supposed top be and will likely remain Wii Fit's biggest territory.
benjaminwillcock (on 27 December 2007)
This game will explode when it hits the US and Europe. It should easily hit 10M worldwide.
siberdib (on 27 December 2007)
Big sales this week for christmas, not far off 1mill at this rate.
Kasz216 (on 21 December 2007)
At this rate it might get delayed in America because they can't meet demand in japan.
segajon (on 20 December 2007)
@ ilovetogame

nobody is forcing anybody to read anything
MontanaHatchet (on 19 December 2007)
I'm impressed with its sellout and the boost of Wii hardware.
ilovetogame (on 19 December 2007)
if you got bored of wii sports after a week you either have no friends or don't like fun. seriously, what is wrong with you. that game is so simple and so incredibly fun and one of the best multiplayer games out right now. the reason why its so popular is cuz you don't have to be a gamer, or like a certain genre, or be able to master difficult controls, you just have to be in the mood for fun. if you don't like it you are way too biased against nintendo and need to try and just enjoy good games instead of hating something just because it happens to be trouncing your console of choice. anyway please sony fanboys stop saying ps3 is gonna win this gen, you have been sounding very pathetic for like half a year now. or at least just throw all your sony is gonna win posts in one thread so no one has to read the BS except for other lost and confused fanboys.
Stats87 (on 19 December 2007)
i honestly do not understand the appeal of this game. I'll continue to stay the fit the proper way....yes i said proper. I don't need a video games to motivate me to stay healthy.
segajon (on 18 December 2007)
@ benjaminwillcock

271 votes before release in us and uk and im the only fanboy in here, that doesnt add up to me.

Back to this generation sells everyone thinks the wii is going to keep up in japan its not look at the last 3 generations for nintendo in japan gc 4m
64 and snes were not all that much either ps3 will win in japan.

Dont try to bring handelds into like you did in your above post we all know nintendo will always own that category
benjaminwillcock (on 18 December 2007)
lol segajon, you seem like the only "fanboy" around here with your cringe-worthy pro Sony comments. At the end of the day you can't argue with sales, and at the moment the Wii and DS are winning, hands down. And as long as Microsoft and Sony continue to butt corporate heads in every attempt to out each other, the Wii will keep on soaring merrily ahead until it is out of sight. If you think Microsoft will give up its second place slot to Sony, you can think again. They'll do everything in their power to stop that from happening, and with pockets as deep as theirs, I would count on Sony never passing them, never mind passing Nintendo.
segajon (on 18 December 2007)
ok nintendo fanboys are so stupid rating this game
they are going crazy because they are currently leading this generation with the wii.

but we all deep down know sony will come out on top with the ps3

keep dreaming nintendo fanboys keep dreaming

NINTENDO HASNT WON A CONSOLE RACE SINCE THE SNES.

GO PS360
And no I did not vote to try to lower the score, sony microsoft fanboys have
respect for the competitors
highwaystar101 (on 17 December 2007)
if one person owns it and 264 people have given it a score has everyone just played the one copy?
Faxanadu (on 17 December 2007)
What happened to my previous comments on this game? How were they removed? Who did that?
highwaystar101 (on 16 December 2007)
I don't know how good it's going to be, it looks like what I do without the wii, when I go down the gym, etc...
kopstudent89 (on 15 December 2007)
much better start than SMG... seems its gonna do rly well
snp (on 14 December 2007)
Pardon if this is a silly question, but is possible to combine the wii fit and remote controls? I'm just think there could be some really dynamic ideas come out of such a combination if it were possible..
Chehansen (on 14 December 2007)
wow already 40k in Japan
tenmast (on 13 December 2007)
This tells a lot about the Japanese audience if this is the number one game. Maybe if western developers want to sell better in Japan, they should stop making anime RPG's, and start making simple games like this one. Personally, I think this is a casual game , and it is a little to gimmicky for my taste. I would have to agree with destroyer and Renar on this one. Cool for a week until the novelty factor wears off.
Destroyer_of_knights (on 10 December 2007)
@Neos

simply looking at my profile and basing your comment on that means nothing.

I do own a wii, and have played wii sports, and the novelty factor wore off after a week, I feel the same will occour with wiifit.
Renar (on 10 December 2007)
Actually, I come close to agreeing with destroyer. Like with nintendogs, I'll probably be fasinated with the novelty of it at first. Amused by its 'in-depth simplicity', that is, simple to use, but lots of feed-back from it.

But in a few weeks, get bored by it. And be bemused to find out, like nintendogs, the game/attachment finds one or more niches in the marketplace and go on to sell 15 million and counting. Who knows, I might even find myself in one of those niches.

And the rating? Yeah, wait to play it first. But does it matter for this type of game? Nintendogs is at 7.64. Most games a point higher would LOVE to have half the LTD sales it does.
Neos (on 09 December 2007)
@destroyer

i tell you why. Because 100% of the games you own are PS, that gives you enough of a bias to not like it. Please just let the rest of the world enjoy it.
Destroyer_of_knights (on 09 December 2007)
I honestly don't see the appeal to this game, but based on wii sports I'm guessing wii fit will be fun for about 1 week and then the novelty factor will wear off.
xstonexcold316x (on 08 December 2007)
im really looking forward to this game i just hope they can make enough so this game can sell really well
wow (on 07 December 2007)
213 people aldeary rated this game. you fanboys will never learn....
