Game Overview

Wolfenstein: The New Order is a first-person shooter developed by MachineGames and published by Bethesda Softworks for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. It is the ninth installment in the Wolfenstein series and the first since 1992 developed outside Id Software.

The game takes place during the 1960's in an alternate history world in which the Nazis won World War II. The player assumes the role of series protagonist B.J. Blazkowicz, who is tasked with launching an "impossible" counter-offensive against the Nazi powers that have taken over the world.

The PS3 and 360 versions likely sold
enough for some profit but its clear the
hardcore shooting audience has moved on
to 8th gen.
