Summary

Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate is a 2.5-D game set after the events of Batman: Arkham Origins. Players continue the storyline of the console version and discover more details of the Dark Knight’s past. After gang-fueled uprisings occur within the walls of Blackgate Prison, Batman is called in to restore order and put an end to the rebellion before the chaos implodes.

Featuring stealth gameplay, free-flow combat and Batman’s infamous gadgets, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate captures the genuine Arkham feel players have come to appreciate for the very first time on the handheld format.

This game continues to surprise me with its success. Sure, 230k won't set the world alight but for a western developed handheld title, it's not bad. Might be helped by the fact there are other 2D side-scrollers on Vita like Muramasa and Dragon's Crown, plus a slew of indies, so it may actually be a pretty attractive platform for fans of the genre

Yeah, I thought this was doomed to do terribly but it's had some legs, especially in Europe. Might reach 200k early in the new year, which wouldn't be a complete disaster.

I wonder if Europe is going to start pulling more software weight on Vita. There's a lot more out there than in the USA.

This has recovered from its terrible FW pretty well, seems to be about to ride a nice christmas boost. LTD is could end at respectable levels

It sold shitty on its own merit though. So I'm not expecting another Batman game on the Vita anytime soon. But yeah the Western 3DS audience is the typical Nintendo audience, kiddy games, and Nintendo's evergreens sell well, not much else.

It sold more than the 3DS version. Interesting....
