Started playing this on my WiiU yesterday. Got it for about 20. It's okay. Not great. Somewhat buggy. Got pretty angry with the game because of a bug in the Backseat driver mission... which did disapear after restarting the game though. If Ubi wants their games to sell on WiiU (if there's any more coming, that is) they should polish them like they did with Rayman Legends. That IS a great game.

This is a good game and there is nothing wrong with the Wii U version, it looks and plays fine. Obviously not a good as the PS4/XB1 versions, but good enough to edge out the PS3/360 versions. Wii U only owners should check this out.
Paatar (on 03 February 2015)
I'll get this when it is on sale.
Mr Puggsly (on 17 January 2015)
Those are some abysmal numbers.

If Wii U was the only console I owned I would get this... but why would I only have Wii U if I wanted games like this?
DarkRPGamer007 (on 11 January 2015)
So Sonic Boom is beating this by over 100k retail
Metallox (on 03 January 2015)
Will have a better year than Splinter Cell Blacklist, call me surprised.

I'm definitely going to be able to pick this up next year for 20 dollars.

Got Watch Dogs for Christmas. Not too bad for Wii U
qwertyDANIELqwerty (on 31 December 2014)
Own the Wii U version, just beat it today. It actually amazed me. Everyone told me it was an overhyped mess, but I loved it. Makes me think of the future of Watch Dogs

lol at fluky
fluky-nintendy (on 26 December 2014)
Lol at the excuses of being a late port and downgraded. PS3 had many of those games and some still went on to sell more than their XB360 counterparts. Hilarious.

"Interesting facts: FW numbers of this version are about 1.23% of those of PS4's version 1st week. Slightly higher install base for ps4. Then people ask why 3rd parties keep abandoning the boat and don't bother maximizing/taking the gamepads abilities on their games for the U."

lol fluky, were you trying to be serious?
OfficerRaichu15 (on 19 December 2014)
@flunky you want us to buy a game that was poorly made and was purposely pushed 6 months later
it would have sold as well as skylanders or disney infinity if it would have released on time :P
OfficerRaichu15 (on 19 December 2014)
this game had over 30k preorders on wii u before they delayed it
could have sold over 100k first week and be over 300k ltd by now :P
ubisoft screwed up hard
atomicblue (on 14 December 2014)
Ubisoft got what they deserved with the poor sales of this version of the game.

Funnily enough, if they'd got it out at the same time as the others it probably would have sold much better because negative word of mouth wouldn't have spread and Wii U owners wouldn't be so pissed off with the company.
DarkRPGamer007 (on 29 November 2014)
I almost got this first day, but cancelled the pre-order back in April when I realized this version wasn't coming out until later (maybe not being made was a possibility.) Plus Mario Kart 8 was on the horizon and I wasn't passing that babe up
Gammalad (on 29 November 2014)
People like me canceled their pre-orders of this game after Ubisoft kept dropping the ball. Instead I canceled the pre-order and put the money on Hyrule Warriors back in September.

Was expecting a bit more cuz of 30k pre order...
Yato_U (on 27 November 2014)
SALES OF SON OF Rest of the World: signify MEXICO AND LATINAMERICA????????

SALES USA = CANADA AND USA NOOO???
curl-6 (on 27 November 2014)
Considering all the factors against it (late, full price, generally considered a disappointing game) I'm surprised it did this much.
gcube2000 (on 27 November 2014)
true
drake_tolu (on 27 November 2014)
@gcube
34,000 pre order... according to VGCHARTZ. ;)
gcube2000 (on 26 November 2014)
I don't understand it had like 34k pre orders
drake_tolu (on 26 November 2014)
lol, will be lucky if will pass 10,000 first week. :P
gcube2000 (on 25 November 2014)
I change my mind. It will probably do only like 40k
gcube2000 (on 23 August 2014)
Will easily do over 100,000 first week.
drake_tolu (on 22 July 2014)
32,523... :D
drake_tolu (on 03 June 2014)
31.000, game of Wii U with more pre order in USA!!! :O
fleischr (on 02 April 2014)
Should move up the pre-order chart the next few weeks...
drake_tolu (on 21 March 2014)
The game have only in USA more 25.000... and this to Feb.
Now, the game have 26/27 k...
Very good, for me the game will sold in USA minimum 60.000... with ein bisschen fortune 100.000 only USA!!! XD XD XD XD
Ok, Zu optimistisch...
But 100.000 in USA+EU is not impossible the first Week. ;)
RedInker (on 26 January 2014)
Pre ordered. Should be good assuming its not been cancelled.
