Game Overview

Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS is a crossover fighting game developed by Sora and Bandai Namco Games which is published by Nintendo for the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U.

The latest entry in the popular Super Smash Bros. franchise, the 3DS and Wii U versions of the game feature the same fighting gameplay fans have come to expect with a number of notable additions and new characters, including Mega Man, the Villager from Animal Crossing, and the Wii Fit Trainer.

This game doesn't have very high
digital sales, this has been confirmed.

@Sky Render, you're wrong, According to
Nintendo the game is at 3.39m units
(SHIPPED+DIGITAL), not 3.91m.
VGChartz
tracks units sold (and retail only), so
if you remove the digital sales and the
units on shelves, it's in fact pretty
much spot on with Nintendo's figure.

According to Nintendo's sales figures
for Q3 2014, this game is severely
undertracked. Their numbers are 3.91m
units sold worldwide vs. current
tracking of 2.91m for VG Chartz data.
While I'm sure some of that has to do
with digital sales, the discrepancy
remains pretty significant.

Though its overtracked in the US by
150k-200k, It shipped 3.39mil. Seems as
though its undertracked in other
countries (not japan though).
