Skullwaker (on 28 February 2015)
I wonder if this could get to 2m LT (retail only)...
S.Peelman (on 08 October 2014)
Game has like... Over 300k digital sales or something. It has done good.
Clyde32 (on 17 August 2014)
The digital sales on this are crazy.
fedfed (on 05 August 2014)
yeah 1mil is not bad!
it is a nice remake... it should be an easy title to be picked by casual... 2mil it could be possible
hunter_alien (on 24 July 2014)
Strong sales. 1.5 million LT with DD is guaranteed at the moment :-). Could it leg it out to 2 million with the new Zelda title?
OfficerRaichu15 (on 19 July 2014)
finally at 1 million retail and is still selling 5k a week :)
ExplodingBlock (on 17 July 2014)
1M GO LONK
DarkRPGamer007 (on 16 July 2014)
Finally shows 1m here but I'm pretty sure this hit over that back in February or something
Fededx (on 16 July 2014)
Million seller, finally!
fedfed (on 11 July 2014)
1 million next week I hope
ExplodingBlock (on 08 July 2014)
ik this already hit 1m+ but I am still waiting for it to make 1 million retail only!
Pillow (on 15 June 2014)
@S.Peelman, but the ratio is way higher for WWHD. There's 15M 3DS vs 1.5M Wii U or 1/26 vs 1/15 attach rate.
Gammalad (on 31 May 2014)
More proof VG Chartz is undertracked...
S.Peelman (on 18 May 2014)
Nintendo's new financials say 1.22m for WWHD (shipped+digital+console SE (I think)). Yeah, that's pretty decent for a remake.
ExplodingBlock (on 27 April 2014)
This game boosted Wii U hardware sales by 77%, that is really good considering this is a remake
S.Peelman (on 31 March 2014)
OoT3D at 570k vs. WWHD at 90k in Japan. Ouch. I know it's part because handhelds top home consoles there, but the difference is gigantic.
supernihilist (on 20 February 2014)
remember guys this is retail only
Nintendo prolly shipped 1.3M of these already adding digital sales
Roar_Of_War (on 29 January 2014)
Nintendo confirmed this was over a million now. :)
qwertyDANIELqwerty (on 25 January 2014)
I'm gonna get this bundle soon.
Cheebee (on 04 January 2014)
I wish we had a way to track digital sales. This may be well over a million by now, who knows?
legendofzalda (on 03 January 2014)
just get to a million Windwaker HD!
leedlelee (on 28 December 2013)
I would love to know how many digital copies (not including the bundle) this sold in the US before the retail release...
This game was on the eShop for a decent amount of time before it was finally released in stores here in the US...
bosslug (on 11 December 2013)
is this including bundle sales? If not then digital copies of this game would be massive
Michael-5 (on 11 December 2013)
pezus - I think NDP track the WiiU Bundle and the retail copy separately. VGC combined those numbers.
Pillow (on 22 November 2013)
Possible 2.5M lifetime. Considering the game stays on the market for the next 3-4 years
pezus (on 16 November 2013)
Second part of my post didn't appear.
"Less than 100k as of the end of Oct according to NPD"
pezus (on 16 November 2013)
Overtracked in the US...
NintendoSupporter (on 09 November 2013)
This will get at least 1.5 million lifetime.
Salnax (on 04 November 2013)
A couple of weeks later, and we're at #5 for a Wii U game in North America and the #83 sku in America for the year (ahead of Beyond, Pikmin 3, and Sly Cooper 4). This may not be a hit in most of the world, but it's doing well in America.
FarleyMcFirefly (on 31 October 2013)
I hope this and Pikmin 3 make it to 1 million LT. They deserve it!
bosslug (on 20 October 2013)
another 70k! go wwhd
Wright (on 14 October 2013)
Down, Right, Left, Up!
Salnax (on 14 October 2013)
Already the 7th best-selling physical Wii U game, despite being digitally available for two weeks in some countries and being a digital bundle this last week. Say what you want about the potential success of the Wii U, but don't underestimate the perceived value of Nintendo's remakes.
Oh, and its on the Top 100 of 2013 so far in America this year, beating out a couple of Disney Infinity iterations and barely behind MGR for the 360 and DmC for the PS3.
On a personal note, as a first-time player of the game, I'm quite enjoying it so far. Who'd have thought that a big leaf would be a nice item?
Metroid33slayer (on 14 October 2013)
With the success of wwhd hopefully nintendo will now remake/remaster twilight princess. I love that game but the textures are really bad.
DoctorMontalban (on 14 October 2013)
I'm assuming this is just for physical copies. I'd like to know the combined numbers, esp since this was out two weeks early on eShop (the version I got).
snorlax69 (on 14 October 2013)
It's nr. 2 on the European eShop sales !! There have been a lot of downloads !
WagnerPaiva (on 14 October 2013)
Holy crap, 300k in two weeks for a system with a 3 million units install base, crazy sales, for a HD remake.
keviel (on 13 October 2013)
Ok Japan and Australia, why are you waiting for the Wii U price cut ????
Meret (on 13 October 2013)
iceland (on 13 October 2013)
are you honestly surprised?
thewastedyouth (on 13 October 2013)
holy crap this sold more in Europe and America than in Japan!!!
Slade6alpha (on 13 October 2013)
Had to do a double take when I saw this at number 7. Impressive numbers!! Easily over 1 million lifetime. I'd say... 1.4 million total. (I'm not good at sales predictions...)
NintendoSupporter (on 13 October 2013)
-Cries- Wii U will be saved! :-)
bsp77 (on 13 October 2013)
And considering the uptick in Wii U sales for the last two weeks (and Nintendo Land not being boosted nearly as much), there may be digital sales upward of 50K. That Zelda bundle must have moved some copies. So my guess is that the game is closer to 200K in NA.
bsp77 (on 13 October 2013)
Pretty good first week numbers in NA, especially considering it is basically an enhanced port. And it boosted the Wii U nicely. Hopefully both the game and the system can now show some legs through the holidays.
Arfen (on 12 September 2013)
one of my favourites Zeldas. I'll be great to seal again looking for the adventure
tbone51 (on 11 August 2013)
Over 2mil lifetime, heard it here
