The only thing this game lacks is the DLC. Other than that, this is actually a good port and plays as well as the 360 and PS3 versions

its not a bad port. Some are just looking for excuses for the game not having sold well instead of just admitting that maybe the audience for this series just isnt erhe on WIi U

Personally, I thought this was the best out of all the Black Ops II ports. Ghosts on the other hand was much better on ps4 and xbox one, so don't just think I am nintendo fanboying here.

This game will sold 260.000 on 31 DIC 2014, and 330.000 on the end of generation.
oniyide (on 01 February 2014)
not if a good portion of those sales came from the bargain bin
supernihilist (on 18 December 2013)
it will sell 250k which is fine for a cheap port like this
supernihilist (on 18 December 2013)
lol i think those are pretty good sales
this brought a profit for sure

Wow. Treyarch did an amazing job on this one. It was on sale for $20 at a local department store so I had to snatch it up.
RedInker (on 11 June 2013)
May pick this up if it drops to 25. I would like to see Ghosts on Wii U even if I may not buy it.
Locknuts (on 01 June 2013)
Well at least with those numbers they should have made a profit....a small one. Hope the Wii U gets Ghosts and it sells ok.
veritaz (on 12 May 2013)
What, I didn't even know they released it on Wii U and wow are those sales an embarrassment for a console call of duty game.

BIG FLOP
AlexFili (on 15 March 2013)
Best FPS game I've ever played. It's an amazing game and a tribute to how much Treyarch care about their gamers.
curl-6 (on 12 March 2013)
At this rate, it might not outsell ANY of the Wii COD games, which is a shame because having both the speed and precision of pointer controls and shiny graphics at the same time is something special.
BShornock (on 30 January 2013)
The big perk about Black Ops 2 on the Wii U, is the fact that split screen is now full screen for 2 people, if they choose. Or two half screens and the tablet for 3 people. The problem is, nobody is going to spend $400 to do that, without other incentives. Plus it's a slow month, everyone is broke or waiting till tax returns to splurge.
BShornock (on 30 January 2013)
Once Black Ops 2 gets DLC support, I'm sure this game will be more appealing to the install base. However, Xbox(15.2% of install base) and PS3(12.7% of install base), right now the Wii U has a 6.15% install base, which is expected since people that get the Wii U, get it for Mario, ZombiU(Which is a more unique zombie experience), or got Nintendo Land Packed in. So the chances of people playing Black Ops 2 on the Wii U versus PS3/Xbox 360, see how it fares in November when there are 8-30 million people with the Wii U.
eyezofnight (on 23 December 2012)
still selling better than modern warefare 3 on the wii. Keep in mind there were 50mil wii's when it was released compared to 1 mil or so wii u's now.
VGKing (on 23 December 2012)
Looks like this game is stuck in the mid 20k's. If it could stay that way it will reach 1 million in 50 weeks! But let's be realistic, it will probably drop below 10k post-holidays. It will reach 1 mil, one day.
JTurner82 (on 22 December 2012)
Plus, note that the third week total is higher than that of its second week. This game is selling in its own right.
Siko1989 (on 20 December 2012)
alot of people can buy this on 360 and ps3 anyway, so 120k is not that bad for a 3 week console and an install base worth of 1.5 million.
JTurner82 (on 15 December 2012)
Yeah, the bigger the install base gets, the higher the sales can get. This is not bad so far.
zippy (on 14 December 2012)
Jesus, a console that is 3 weeks old and already doom and gloom on 3rd party sales. Let it at least get an install base.
JTurner82 (on 14 December 2012)
It's already legging at 22k per week. Hardly anything to call "trouble" at all.
JTurner82 (on 13 December 2012)
Do we have to jump to such conclusions already? We don't even know that.
VGKing (on 12 December 2012)
#4 best seller as the time of me writing this comment with only 0.12m sales......3rd party already having trouble selling on Wii U.
JTurner82 (on 10 December 2012)
So far, the sales are so-so for this, but as the WiiU base expands, more and more people should gradually become aware of it.
