Hippo Hooray series was a "Gold Recipient" -- Mom's Choice Awards

Created by parents for their own children (and tested extensively with those very same kids), Pancake Parlour is a great way to help young children hone their pattern matching skills and keep them entertained. From the makers of the Hippo Hooray series of iOS apps including Hippo Hooray Colors, Shapes, Numbers, and Letters, Animals, Fruit, Alien Monster Mix and Match, Scoop Shoppe, Cupcake Corner, and A Story Before Bed, this accessible game has several characters (including a giraffe, monkey, and rhino as well as Honey the Hippo and Rafael the Robin) asking the player to build platters of pancakes and waffles that match the orders coming into the pancake parlour. Starting with only a few options the first few orders are simple. But after a series of successful matches the player gets new ingredients and more complicated orders. Children can keep playing to see how high a score they can achieve!

The illustrations are adorable, the characters are cute, and the waffles and pancakes look ready to eat... delicious! In addition to the high quality artwork, the user interface is super simple letting your toddler focus on cognitive, language, and motor development.
