| enrageorange (6 days ago) So far this year, god of war collections sold 30k, according to vgcharts so it basically stopped selling. This is up to 250k. It could pass collections by next year, and considering well over half of GoW collection's sales were free bundles its already past it in terms of actual sales, http://www.analoghype.com/video-games/playstation-3-news/god-of-war-collection-hits-the-1-million-mark, and unless adjusted down this game will pass 2mil, and probably end up near 3mil, its already at 1.8mil, and still selling according to vgchartz. | |
| BenVTrigger (on 30 April 2012) People who expected this game to do over 2 million are.............well honestly dumb. No HD remake EVER will without bundling, and yes that includes GOW. Only super hardcore fans of a franchise ever buy the remake | |
| Mr Puggsly (on 23 April 2012) @ pezus - Blah, blah, blah... you take no factors into consideration. God of War Collection had console bundling (black friday) and was bundled with controllers. On top of that its been on the market for about 2 year longer. Look how piss poor God of War Origins performed. Which was also bundled with controllers. God of War is a hit, but not the hit bundles have lead you to believe. | |
| pezus (on 20 April 2012) @Puggsly: It's already crawling to a halt, do you really think it will catch the GoW collection (which btw is still selling). Not to mention that Halo is a significantly bigger franchise than GoW, yet GoW collection sold considerably more. | |
| Metroid33slayer (on 04 April 2012) Scratch that! this game has already hit a brick wall and will just about make 2m, the guy from vgchartz that wrote that article about future halo sales predicted 6m. He is probably keeping a low profile. | |
| Mr Puggsly (on 26 March 2012) @ Heavenly_King - People had unrealistic expectations, you included. Its the same old game with improved graphics. Yet its still selling better than most AAA games. If you can't admit that's impressive than you sir are a moron. | |
