Game Overview

In Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD version as the title suggests the player takes on the role of a villages Hunter in a fantasy enviroment and earns money and rewards by undergoing quests from the village elder and eventually the hunters guild. The game features an extensive single player mode, aswell as a online co op mode three times the length of the solo campaign (although co op is recomended it can be played with one player)

Portable 3rd HD version also incorporates an updated version of the felyne companion system from previous installments which allows a hunter to purchase up to 8 felyne's to work on your farm and accompany you on quests (a slightly more accident prone answer to offline co op) the companions can even be equipped with new armor and weapons made from monster parts called Scraps.

@lilbroex They're actually quite good.
Note that this is just a cheap port from
Monster Hunter Portable 3rd, a year old
PSP game which isn't an enhanced
version of MH3(tri-). Get your facts

A comparison between this and
Monster Hunter 3 (tri-) G HD ver. will
be much fairer.

lo. This sells are pretty bad. I thought
everyone was certain that a Monster
Hunter game on the PS3 would outsell
what the Wii did.

They got an
enhanced version of the Wii's Monster
Hunter and it didn't even break half of
the sells.
Mordred11 (on 14 September 2011)
pretty good sales

But it didn't come to PS3, deal with it

Monster Hunter 3 on PS3 could have sold
more than on Wii. Deal with it, Capcom.
