Nevermind.
Jozu (on 21 May 2013)
This was adjusted up quite alot this was at 1.8-1.9 million before I'm sure.
leyendax69 (on 31 March 2013)
Good sales considering it is a sequel and multi-platform, also the same happens with X and X-2
A203D (on 13 December 2012)
@Farrow: It won't happen, and exclusivity could damage the Sony brand. Sony need to move forward with Legend of Dragoon 2. The days of relying on FF7 to sell their consoles is gone. Time to move forward. If Wada can make FF15 a success, good for him, but its not Sony's problem, nor should it be.
Farrow (on 22 October 2012)
Good let it go back to being a Sony exclusive like it should be.
A203D (on 15 October 2012)
Even with 3 mil sales; the series has been killed on the 360. Its possible the series will never have success on another Microsoft console because of FF13.
T.Rexington (on 09 October 2012)
At the end of the day, XIII-2 is profitable, which is probably why we'll be getting a XIII-3.
miqdadi (on 01 October 2012)
It could manage 3M with the XBOX, but, for a FF, these are bad sales
A203D (on 05 August 2012)
@iamlegend9999 No one is saying that 1 mil copies isnt successful. What is in question is why FF13-2 has sold less copies than FF13. Approimately less than half.
iamlegend9999 (on 21 July 2012)
Any game that sales up to 1 million copies has great sales. People who are trolling saying that this game has bad sales for a FF game need to GTFO.
Frozone (on 15 July 2012)
It's at 2.5 million now with Xbox.
Boutros (on 15 July 2012)
Yeah but it did receive very aggressive deals everywhere.
Syndrome (on 01 July 2012)
Is it me or is this holding out well? its sold more this week in US than it did in the weeks in March.
thewastedyouth (on 22 June 2012)
@A203D thank for the update. I hope FF becomes great again.!!!
A203D (on 21 June 2012)
@thewastedyouuth Two words: Hinorobu Sakaguchi. The guys in charge of the FF series at the moment are Momotu Toriyama and Yoshinori Kitase. They are highly incompitent at best.

However it seems Yochi Wada has stopped them from damaging futher entries to the FF series. FF13-3 is rumoured to be on the horizon. I'm desperately hoping that FF15 is being made by the other FF production team: Parts of the team left over from the fallout of FF12's development.

Just becuase it has FF on the box, dosent make it an FF. Look at what these developers did to the Parasite Eve series with the 3rd Birthday!
thewastedyouth (on 18 June 2012)
Anyone remember FINAL FANTASY X, there where no freaking little kids or all this other crap and it was ONE OF THE MOST SUCCESSFUL FF games ever

why did the Japs change the formula, it was doing great

When Final Fantasy XII came out and I heard the developers where made to change their game and add that little faggot main character I knew things were bad and this is the END RESULT!!!
miqdadi (on 13 June 2012)
After digging deep into this, I realize why the poor sales, It's not a typical FF game, story is not a straight forward, (There are those who dislike limiting freedom for sake of story), It looks like they listened more than they should for haters of the original, In the end FF has always got it's strength from story telling, Good game in my opinion, I still have to give a final score
-girgosz- (on 26 May 2012)
Damn this game is under 10 pounds on Zavvi. Square must be in trouble selling this shitty game...
A203D (on 24 May 2012)
The metacritic is at 79; a game that can barely manange to get 8/10 dosent make it an 8/10 game. User metacritic is at 6.5.

What is shameful is fans attemtping to defend reivew scores. The game isnt triple A by either critical or commercial success. Blaming reviewers for that isnt going to change the failure of the developer, which has been in spades.
ryuzaki57 (on 22 May 2012)
User score is still at 8 (and metacritic too by the way). This stupid review is way off!
A203D (on 14 May 2012)
Its not necessarily shameful. These numbers need to send a message to Sqaure. No more 5 year long development times! I think they will make the same mistakes with Versus as they did with FF13. I think the only salvation is now with FF15.
Claymore (on 07 May 2012)
@Rêveur:FFXIII-2 has been the worst selling FF in 20 years, to put things in perspective FFXIII-2 has barely sold the same amount world wide in 5 months as FFX-2 did in it's frist 2 weeks in Japan alone.
IxisNaugus (on 06 May 2012)
@ Rêveur: I really doubt that's the case. There are no two ways around it. This can't be considered anything more than a bomb.
Rveur (on 04 May 2012)
Shameful numbers? So many game companies would be happy getting those numbers. In fact, these numbers are so high that it has probably encouraged Square Enix to make a XIII-3.
Cold Light (on 25 April 2012)
Shameful numbers, even when combined. XIII sold pretty good, but this...
I hope Versus XIII will bring back respect for this series, if it will be relesed of course. If not, than XV is their last chance.
ishiki (on 21 April 2012)
2 million combined with xbox 360.
ishiki (on 21 April 2012)
@shrouded darkness FFXIII-2 VGC data was the same as other sources when it was around at 2 million. Since then, it's not sold enough to be published by others.
ShroudedDarkness (on 15 April 2012)
@SnakeDrake

To do that... XIII-2 would need to increase weekly sales by about 12,700
to a total of atleast 35,000 a week and then sell no less than that for the
year. That's not going to happen seeing as how the game is dropping
each week in Europe, barely hanging on to 6,500 in America, and continues
to drop in Japan. I could see this getting between 2.5 and 3 million by the end
of the year... less than half to almost less than a third of what XIII did. Of course,
if you go by Media Create and NPD (aka legitmate sources who aren't proven
wrong on a weekly basis by the companies who sell the darn games), XIII-2
only has sales of around 1.2 million.

SnakeDrake (on 14 April 2012)
My prediction for this game (ps3 version) was 3.5 mil by the end of the year...... come on legs
darthdevidem01 (on 09 April 2012)
Worst FF since FF3 but still good & enjoyable.
Aj_habfan (on 11 March 2012)
What numbers are you even looking at? Vgchartz has this at around 535k for PS3/360, which is right in line with the other sources.
ishiki (on 11 March 2012)
Well according to VGC UFC Undisputed sold 430 in NA. And everywhere confirms Final Fantasy XIII-2 sold more than that. Which would mean VGC is off by atleast 90K on that as well. Which means VGC sucks, or someones sources is wrong.
VXIII (on 10 March 2012)
Sorry about the mess . As you can see Twisted Metal is at 9, FF is the second.

VGKing (on 09 March 2012)
@Rob
You do know the 1.69m you see is worldwide right?
You do know NPD only tracks USA sales right?

Ok, just making sure...
VGKing (on 09 March 2012)
"Twisted Metal was the 2nd Highest selling SKU of the month at 220K & FFXIII-2 PS3 was at 7th (according to industry source on neogaf)"

This doesn't make sense. If this was true than there's no way XIII-2 could have been in the Top 5 for the month. This industry source in NeoGaf is making no sense. All that really matters is that XII-2 is #2 in February which means its a success in the US. VgChartz numbers seem to be accurate.
Rob-Ot (on 09 March 2012)
Twisted Metal was the 2nd Highest selling SKU of the month at 220K & FFXIII-2 PS3 was at 7th (according to industry source on neogaf). And xbox 360 version was outside of the top 10 (which MS agrees as their press release didn't mention XIII-2 to be one of the top 5 xbox titles in the top 10). The lowest game in the top 10 did 130K. so FFXIII-2 (PS3) did less than 220K while FFXIII-2 (360) didl less than 130K making 350K the MAX XIII-2 could have done. Go to neogaf, they have done the calculations already. The game is overtracked by over 60% and is a big bomb. The FF franchise has come to a colossal halt.
VXIII (on 09 March 2012)
Let's see, The top 5 in Feb according to NPD are: -Call of Duty -Final Fantasy XIII-2 -UFC Undisputed -Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning -Just Dance3. We know that Kingdoms of Amalur did 330,000 accros all platforms, we have FF at 540K, seems perfectly fine to me. let alone "massively" overtacked.
Rob-Ot (on 09 March 2012)
Massively overtracked according to NPD
binary solo (on 08 March 2012)
@ Mertle Definitely wishful thinking there for both consoles. 2.5 million on PS3 possibly, 600K on 360 maybe.
Mertle (on 06 March 2012)
Im hoping this version can reach 3 mil and Xbox 1 mil for a total of 4 mil.
DitchPlaya (on 06 March 2012)
803k in Japan, at this rate itll easily sell its first shipment, is a million still in the cards with the positive buzz the game is getting?
ishiki (on 05 March 2012)
the endgame stuff is pretty neato, combat is too easy, but finding all the paradoxes is fun!
binary solo (on 02 March 2012)
VsXIII better be great or SE won;t have just killed the franchise's hopes on the 360, they will have killed it off on the PS3 too.
VGKing (on 25 February 2012)
Good to see its still in Top 10.
Should have decent legs.
Exia (on 23 February 2012)
Almost finished the game, just 5 more fragments to go.
Its an Ok game. SE can't seem to balance the game very well. Fixes some of the problems in 13 but also created some news one and over rectified others.
Sure we wanted more side-quests and mini-games, but this game is 30% story 70% side content.
plu_To (on 20 February 2012)
It's OK, but over the long haul the content struggles to keep you interested
Venik (on 19 February 2012)
This game is really awesome!
It deserves better sales
Christhor (on 18 February 2012)
Don't listen to VGKing, he's being a troll and just setting people up to get dissapointed by Final Fantasy again.
Ideas (on 18 February 2012)
Poor sales FF brand is damaged beyond repair!!!
VGKing (on 17 February 2012)
This is a great game. All the hate isn't deserved and sales should be higher.
If you're a FF fan give this a try. You can rent or buy used if you want but give the game a chance.
Also, stay away from reviews and gaming forums. Too many trolls on the internet. Make up your own opinion of the game.
Dohken (on 16 February 2012)
This site is that inaccurate with its numbers I dont know why you people bother.
Turkish (on 16 February 2012)
@fvgc2049: a multibillion company like Sony has no IQ, they should better listen to a random guy like you who can't even speak English properly.
fvgc2049 (on 15 February 2012)
When others attack your weak part, like Iphone?YOU JUST KEEP ADVERTISE YOUR BEST PART,because both are true,as long as you keep advertising, and others stop to complain, then you win, seem stupid SONY doesn't even have IQ at all.
fvgc2049 (on 15 February 2012)
But one thing for sure,SONY doesn't know how to ADVERTISE products, just waste a lot of money----------advertise your key feature at all cost, like Iphone, you have an unbalanced product?only advertise its best part, other part?ignore it----didn't APPLE teach you something already or you are just stupid.
fvgc2049 (on 15 February 2012)
@Tridrakious
Because you thought wrong and even feel shocked.
ishiki (on 13 February 2012)
play nice kids.
XJordanXCLBX (on 12 February 2012)
they did it because people wanted one
XJordanXCLBX (on 12 February 2012)
XIII-2 was never wanted???
Tridrakious (on 11 February 2012)
XIII-2 was never wanted. That in combination to the quality of XIII and XIV have greatly damaged the Final Fantasy name. That being said I'm suprised this game managed to do so well in it's first weeks across the globe.
miqdadi (on 11 February 2012)
O.K, Now can this game reach 5M world wide (Least it should do as FF Title), with the sales we see till now there is no way, I find this amusing though, not so bad words been stuck to this one but still it can not sell, the original though is still selling and slowly approaching 7M world wide, with so many haters it's so Strange
Panama (on 11 February 2012)
Been playing it for the last few days. It's absolutely brilliant. A slew of dialogue options for 100s of NPCs. Tonnes of NPC quests. Absolutely non linear in map design and as to how you pursue the main quest. More refined and flexible crystarium which I imagine gives it hefty replayability among other minor improvements that go a long way in making absolutely superior to its predecessor such as the inclusion of monsters in your party. Safe to say Western Critics wouldn't have a clue as to what the hell they want from a JRPG anymore.
DemoniOtaku (on 10 February 2012)
This is proof that this series is still strong on western market even with all the Haters that have gain with the last two games... I'll be getting it later and so there are other like me.. it will sell a long time..
2000cc (on 10 February 2012)
Almost 2 million (across both platforms) worldwide after the first week on sale in the west!. I'm sure Square will be stoked being that it cost a small fraction to make compared to what a new FF would. Excellent game too, deserves every sale :-)
Boutros (on 10 February 2012)
Great sales!
Claymore (on 10 February 2012)
Worst sales for a none remake final fantasy since the SNES era.
Boutros (on 09 February 2012)
Great sales!
Claymore (on 09 February 2012)
Poor sales for a poor game.
Exia (on 09 February 2012)
The pre-orders are not accurate, but maybe its because people cancel them?
Rob-Ot (on 09 February 2012)
Should end at 2 Million LTD
Boutros (on 09 February 2012)
Nice I predicted 1.5 million this week!
Iveyboi (on 09 February 2012)
87.1% market share wow
ghettoglamour (on 09 February 2012)
aj_habfan the final week before launch it still had overtracked numbers. so those estimates were totally useless. The same happened to a lot of games last year, like Batman AC, AC Revelations, etc.
Aj_habfan (on 09 February 2012)
ghettoglamour those numbers were adjusted down to 307k a while ago.
ghettoglamour (on 09 February 2012)
another example of how much preorder estimates are worth on this site.

Vengeance99 (on 06 February 2012)
This game is fantastic! It's everything 13 SHOULD have been. I feel there are still some missed opportunities, but overall, this game is a definite step in a positive direction for Square-Enix... FF Versus 13 & FF 15 will be epic. 8.5/10
Claymore (on 06 February 2012)
The game is trash.
Rob-Ot (on 05 February 2012)
Almost platinumed. Would give it 9/10
man-bear-pig (on 05 February 2012)

Indeed a very good game. Good characters, story, ending, and music. Besides two crappy songs made by the infamous Nobuo.
VXIII (on 03 February 2012)
Amazingly good, exceeded all my expectations
Rob-Ot (on 01 February 2012)

Hopefully it can reach 3 million lifetime.

1.7m next week
ishiki (on 29 January 2012)
Or neither, sorry about my grammar, these boxes are difficult.
ishiki (on 29 January 2012)
Something to think. Last Gen, FF was the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. Best selling PS2 game in japan. FF is currently the 1st and 4th Best selling PS3 game in japan, And soon be 1st and 3rd. Is the decline in PS in japan attributed to FF. Or the Decline in FF attributed to the Decline in PS. Or some combination?
Boutros (on 28 January 2012)
Pump Pump Pump Pump Pump Pump BOOOM!!!!! The wait is painful :(
Rob-Ot (on 25 January 2012)
It's not doing more than FFXIII in Japan compared to same weeks. But this won't mean much unless it stabilises, if it just does a bit more than XIII but continues to go down all it won't mean a lot in terms of sales volume.
DitchPlaya (on 25 January 2012)
8700 units this week according to MC, thats more than FFXIII, so far this is looking good!
XJordanXCLBX (on 24 January 2012)
I predict 2m worldwide 1 week after it is release in Canada ans USA
DitchPlaya (on 23 January 2012)
Its the next few weeks that will be important, FFXIII sold very little after its first month, the drop for XIII-2 has been much gentler. If it holds on well enough, i can see the post-10 week sales being rather consistent.
Zim (on 22 January 2012)
@Rob-Ot the gap is getting smaller as the sales for both fell. To put things in context for people. From week 6 until current day FF13 sold 64k. So unless a bundle gets released it is very unlikely that FF13-2 will even reach 900k let alone 1million in Japan.
Rob-Ot (on 18 January 2012)
In Week 5 FFXIII did 16K so the gap between the two is getting smaller.
Sparking (on 18 January 2012)
MediaCreate has it at 14k, Vgchartz inaccurate yet again.
ishiki (on 17 January 2012)
I don't think it will get to one million. I think that's what Boutros said is true. However it is currently the 4th highest selling PS3 game in japan. And will probably pass mgs4 (.83) in time
Boutros (on 17 January 2012)
I thought Famitsu said that for 2011...
DitchPlaya (on 16 January 2012)
Well seeing as Famitsu are saying its a possibility, i guess we can take their word. However it still rests on the reaction of the game, which from what we seem to be hearing is better than XIII.
Sparking (on 16 January 2012)
Well Vgchartz said it did 23k this wekk but they are always inaccurate.
Teo (on 16 January 2012)
It will hit the 1 million mark in Japan alone, making it the second best selling PS3 game of all time in Japan "before the end of the year" according to Famitsu.
DitchPlaya (on 14 January 2012)
Reaction has been positive so far, so it could hold on, itll sell its first shipment and SE may indeed ship some more. 900k is a possibility.
Boutros (on 14 January 2012)
I'm really starting to get pumped to play this!! I avoided the demo so far but it's killing me!!
Chaos-Emerald (on 14 January 2012)
I wonder if it can reach 0.94 in Japan that would be half of the originals.
Zim (on 14 January 2012)
@Rob-Ot Indeed. Week 4 was a holiday for this, whereas week 3 was for 13. Expect a very big drop off next week. Basically this doing better in week 4 isn't indicative of future sales at all. I would guess maybe below 15k next week.
Rob-Ot (on 14 January 2012)
No I'm wrong that was the previous week. Next week it will see a big drop
Rob-Ot (on 14 January 2012)
@zim... Week 4 was a hliday for FFXIII as well in its month of launch
XJordanXCLBX (on 13 January 2012)
man look at the pre order chidori chan2
chidori-chan2 (on 13 January 2012)
this game is already dead in japan, and chances floping in USA is very high...
Zim (on 13 January 2012)
Before anyone says it's week 4 was bigger than ff13s keep in mind week 4 was a holiday week in Japan. Mk7, Mario Ds both saw big increases in sales. MH3F saw a tiny decrease. Lots of games went up in sales this week.
DakonBlackblade (on 13 January 2012)
The demo was excelent, way better tham XIII, and I liked XIII a lot. I think the demo will help pre-orders improve even more on US and Europe.
ylowbstard (on 13 January 2012)
Rob-Ot - Truer words have NEVER been said!
Rob-Ot (on 12 January 2012)
The demo alone was better than FFXIII
DitchPlaya (on 09 January 2012)
Well given the hate the last game got, and this is its direct-follow up, these sales are not as bad as people are making it out to be. The 2nd and 3rd week drops have been above expectations and it looks very likely theyll sell their initial 850k. If the reaction to the game is good then we can expect good sales passed the first 10 weeks since it didnt open to huge numbers in its first week.
Ham_Burgular (on 09 January 2012)
If the preview is right (which it rarely is) it hardly dropped at all this week. From this point on it should close the gap on the original each weekly.
Ham_Burgular (on 09 January 2012)
This isnt a main game, what part of this do people not understand its no different from Dirge of Ceberus or Crisis Core. These games arent going to sell 3 million copies like before the PS3 has only sold 7 million in Japan its nothing like the PS2. This game is already the 4th best selling PS3 game in Japan.
Zim (on 09 January 2012)
Keep in mind when looking at pre-orders that each new FF is effectively a new game, whereas this is a sequel. Sequels usually have bigger openings but drop off quicker. If people played FF13 they probably already know if they are going to buy 13-2 or not.
miqdadi (on 09 January 2012)
Question is will it pass 1M in Japan, needs legs to do so, till now it's not looking this way
italo244 (on 08 January 2012)
Looking at the USA pre-orders, yeah, it will probably will do a lot better in Americas than XIII. Dont know bout Europe.
VXIII (on 08 January 2012)
I don't agree , If you look at FF history you'd see that the first FF in the generation always sells the most ( FF7 and FFX ) , and mainline FFs alywas outsells the spin-offs
XJordanXCLBX (on 06 January 2012)
it will do much better in NA and Europe
Zim (on 06 January 2012)
@Seraphna .... what? FF7 had first week sales of 2million in Japan. FF13-2 is so far the worst selling main title in the series by a HUGE gap. FF13 is currently the worst selling main title in Japan and that had sales of around 1.75million by week 3. In Japan it is performing incredibly similarly to CC:FF7 which was a spin off and never reached 1 million there.
Lord_Yggdrassil (on 06 January 2012)
are you being sarcastic Sephna? Sales for this game are terrible
SnakeDrake (on 06 January 2012)
This will be the third JRPG to reach 1 mil on the PS3
Seraphna (on 06 January 2012)
FF7 took more then 3 weeks to reach these numbers. I don't think it's safe to claim anything about a game's sales based on it's first week in a single country.
XJordanXCLBX (on 05 January 2012)
knocturnal2435 look at the USA preorders chart
knocturnal2435 (on 04 January 2012)
Really disappointing to see those sales. When was the last time a main FF game did under 1 million in Japan? Must be decades. If ever. At just 538k and a two week total of 657k it will struggle to get past 1 million (which I hope it does). FF games are known for having a blockbuster opening and quickly fading off the charts. I hope it's run in the USA can make up for it, I know I'll eventually get around to getting it, but I can't forsee it doing much better in the USA. For one reason or another most people didn't like FF13. Personally, I loved it! This is a far cry away from doing what FFX-2 did, regardless of the PS2 having a bigger user base.
Ham_Burgular (on 02 January 2012)
At 81k its still behind XIII's 3rd week but again it had the much better drop. However it was starting with XIII's week 4 where it quickly died off, So maybe just maybe XIII-2 can start catching up ground on it every week from now on.
XJordanXCLBX (on 01 January 2012)
worldwide I predict 5m even if it didnt did as well as XIII in Japan
Ham_Burgular (on 31 December 2011)
This is still just a spinoff you know. Dont forget the PS3 is a failure in Japan compared to PS1 and PS2 FF games can never reach the heights of those old games.
miqdadi (on 31 December 2011)
So sad to see those sales, it was once a big title in Japan, not anymore though, square need to do something before the title dies completely
Roar_Of_War (on 30 December 2011)
This will still end up selling over a million, but these sales are a little depressing.
Rob-Ot (on 30 December 2011)
Week to week drop will be better as the games is actual not crap like FFXIII and the sales were lower in the first place so % drop was gonna be smaller.
Ham_Burgular (on 28 December 2011)
118k second week, much better week to week drop than the original games.
RJ_Sizzle (on 26 December 2011)
Oh gee, people were relucant to buy a sequel to a game that burned people in the first place. Color me surprised.
Ham_Burgular (on 25 December 2011)
Nintendo suck at proper gamesw anyway now, they just have your dance and kiddy games.
oniyide (on 25 December 2011)
@nintendofandj, that is the dumbest thing ever LOL. FF was most popular on PC/PS1. It will never go back to a Ninty system, not exclusively, let it go.
XJordanXCLBX (on 24 December 2011)
THis game is coming out in Hong kong and by looking at the pre order chartz of USA this one will sell more than XIII
Marco (on 24 December 2011)
FF13-2 is the better FF13-game. ff13 was boring, ff13-2 is good, i think.
DakonBlackblade (on 24 December 2011)
Haters gona hate what can you do. The game aparently is pretty good and the sales are low for FF standanrd but arent low in general terms at all. I dont think Square was wanting to gain throngs of money here, I think they wanted to show they hear the fans they improved on XIII and that FF games are still fun to play, I believe theyll be sucessfull in this goal and future FF games will benefit from XIII-2s existance.
Kyuu (on 24 December 2011)
hopefully its going to sell much worse outside japan ;)
NintendoFanDj (on 23 December 2011)
i meant nintendo system
NintendoFanDj (on 23 December 2011)
lol ff will never be the same if they don't go back to old root and system. which is NES
mateuspradosousa (on 23 December 2011)
XIII-2 is the best FF in years...for sure will be a huge success on West
Galvanizer (on 23 December 2011)
Epic fail in sales.
mateuspradosousa (on 23 December 2011)
Haters are saying that the game is a bomb because the low sales?? hahahahaha...it will change when IGN give 10/10 on its review next month for sure
mateuspradosousa (on 23 December 2011)
On january 31 the game will sell much more, and I'm waiting for the week 2 too
blue7x7 (on 23 December 2011)
not surprised it bombed and don't say it didn't it's not a new IP It's a final fantasy game when it's predecessor sold 1.5 million in japan in it's opening week and this saw a 1 million drop that is a bomb. I'm kind of glad it bombed though hopefully it encourages them to make a better FF game after FF13 I think the franchise has taken a huge hit on it's reputation and FF14 didn't help either.
2000cc (on 23 December 2011)
1st week was only 2 days sales (release on 15th to end of period december 17th) so probably expect a decent '2nd week' too as that will actually be a 7 day period, still XIII sold around double this in its 1st 2 days
chidori-chan2 (on 23 December 2011)
Holy shit at XIII-2 Gigabomba right there, to be beaten by Xillia is incredible lmao!
XJordanXCLBX (on 23 December 2011)
Looking at the pre order I bet IT will sell better in NA
Ham_Burgular (on 23 December 2011)
Hopefully it legs its way out more than the other one.
NintendoPie (on 23 December 2011)
Their up and... much worse than FFXIII D: but better than FFXIII's USA and Europe first week.
Galvanizer (on 18 December 2011)
When the heck will we get first week Japanese sales?
XJordanXCLBX (on 15 December 2011)
This one will sell more than XIII http://www.vgchartz.com/article/88591/usa-preorders-chart-10-december-2011-old-republic-nears-1-million/
DakonBlackblade (on 10 December 2011)
@Rob-Ot how exactly is selling almost 2 million = bombing ? Ive said this before Ill say it again, Square knows this wont sell wonders, they are aware of ppls feelings towards XIII, theyre making this game to show ppl they hear to the fans by making XIII a better game and also because this is a cash grab, production cicles were small the engine was already done and a lot of other things they can get from XIII, if this sells 1 million worldwide Squenix will be profting already and as long as they convince the meia that this was an improvement over XIII Square Enix wins.
VXIII (on 07 December 2011)
Like it means anything
Boutros (on 06 December 2011)
40/40!! ^.^
Rob-Ot (on 05 December 2011)
Game will bomb worldwide. Will end with 600K LTD in Japan. Will end with 700K LTD in NA and 550K LTD in Europe. Overall selling below 2 Million
brendude13 (on 03 November 2011)
Different to the EU boxart.
XJordanXCLBX (on 03 November 2011)

spurgeonryan (on 01 November 2011)

XJordanXCLBX (on 14 September 2011)
I wish they realy make a XIII-3 XIII is my favorite game of all time and I c'ant wait to play this one
darthdevidem01 (on 26 June 2011)
@Skeleton Fingers.....apparently the plot will still have more to do with Lightning. Like how FFXIII had more to do with Fang/Vanille than Lightning....etc
darthdevidem01 (on 26 June 2011)
Ne interview with art director...huge technological towns & world interactivity was mentioned
skeleton_fingers (on 23 June 2011)
I heard it will focus more on Serah though, kinds sad to hear that since Lightning is badass but I'll preorder after TGS 2011.
darthdevidem01 (on 16 June 2011)
Amazing E3 reveal, will be GOTY 2012.
darthdevidem01 (on 28 May 2011)
Can't wait for E3 reveal! Love the log, but not Lightnings armour, the old outfit is best!
VivaLaWiida (on 01 February 2011)
I love the logo!
Acevil (on 18 January 2011)
Darth would be proud of this game.

Nevermind.
Jozu (on 21 May 2013)
This was adjusted up quite alot this was
at 1.8-1.9 million before I'm sure.
leyendax69 (on 31 March 2013)
Good sales considering it is a sequel
and multi-platform, also the same
happens with X and X-2
A203D (on 13 December 2012)
@Farrow: It won't happen, and
exclusivity could damage the Sony brand.
Sony need to move forward with Legend of
Dragoon 2. The days of relying on FF7 to
sell their consoles is gone. Time to
move forward. If Wada can make FF15 a
success, good for him, but its not
Sony's problem, nor should it be.
