Game Overview
XCOM is an upcoming third-person tactical shooter video game currently in development by 2K Marin. It was originally designed as a reboot of the X-COM video game series originally created by MicroProse but may no longer be a reboot because of the recent success of XCOM: Enemy Unknown.
The game is currently set to be released on August 20, 2013 by 2K Games for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in the Americas after several delays and a rebranding from simply "XCOM" to "The Bureau: XCOM Declassified". It has also transitioned from a first person shooter to a third person tactical game.
