MANUELF (on 20 May 2011)
Bought it in an impulse buy but I dont mind
TheConduit (on 20 July 2009)
For Japan alone it is the best selling in the series

I wonder if DQ9 can change that

Ah, good old DQ7. One of the finest entries in the series, and one of the best illustrations of why the series never took off outside of Japan. In Japan, it defines the turn-based RPG. Outside of Japan, it's remarkably niche.

The overall pace is slow, the story is borderline episodic in nature, and the battle engine is pretty fast-paced, which is good given all the fights you get into. This all adds up to a great game to those who embrace the JRPG mindset, and a dull slogfest to fans of more Western-tailored game experiences.

Bought it last week on Ebay in mint condition. Can't wait to play! I'm really into this series after IV, V and VIII.
Xen (on 19 April 2009)
Probably the only game that managed 2 million weeks straight.
Gearbox (on 07 April 2009)

NSS7 (on 07 February 2009)
Is this the only games that selling more than 1 million for two weeks in one region ?
Cactus (on 02 October 2008)
Amazing game.
oliist (on 15 June 2008)
Lets say there are better RPGs out there.
At least FFXII is an even worse game compared to this.
Domo-Kun (on 06 June 2008)
