What system has the most rpg type games in it? The DS seems to be filled with them.
Fededx (on 01 April 2011)
Great game, I really liked it!
itachi-89 (on 04 March 2011)
others maybe is 200, so around 700. its really good for a fire emblem game
Smeags (on 17 December 2010)
A restart button would have been greatly appreciated.
Demotruk (on 12 January 2010)
Wow, these sales are fantastic, and we don't even have others numbers.

I didn't like the game initially, because I foolishly expected it to be more about strategy, when really it's a game of good conservative tactics. I got back into it though, and it's good as what it is, even if I'd probably prefer a more strategy oriented game.
valen200 (on 12 November 2009)
just got it new for 10 bucks. Just need to get ds back from roomate, stupid Scribblenauts.
Thechalkblock (on 21 July 2009)
I hate it how I refuse to let anyone die so whenever I make a small mistake leading to a characters death I have to start the chapter all over again.

I love this game :)
SJGohan3972 (on 31 May 2009)
Got it, my first Fire Emblem (I own the GBA games but have never touched them - I got a bunch for free at one point) is fun as hell so far. I just got through the Prologue (already had to sacrifice 1 person) - they're not lying when they say this game is unforgiving.
Majin-Tenshinhan (on 01 May 2009)
Sales seem to be moving steady. Wouldn't be surprised to see this hit 750k sometime down the line.
IxisNaugus (on 27 April 2009)
Glad i got to know more about Marth and his story. Now where's my Fuinn no Tsurugi DSmake?
SmokedHostage (on 16 April 2009)
Beat it a few days ago. Wonderful game! Paladins are a bit broken imo though.
SmokedHostage (on 11 April 2009)
I'm stuck at Ch. 24 :\
Kenology (on 09 April 2009)
Yeah, smu, Fire Emblem really hooks you. I couldn't get enough of it - was even playing while I was walking from the train station back to my house and I never do that!
supermariouniverse (on 30 March 2009)
This is my first FE game, so i don't know how it compares with the other FE games. Still, im completely addicted to this game!
Kenology (on 27 March 2009)
@ blaydcor: It's the first FE game ever, it has no predecessors. You mean you like it's successors better. We all do.

Anyways, where's Others data? This may be at 500k already.
blaydcor (on 27 March 2009)
I don't hate it, I just don't like it as much as I passionately loved it's immediate predecessors.
Kenology (on 26 March 2009)
Awesome game. blaydcor, stop bitchin', dude. Really. It's a remake of an NES game and they kept it faithful to the original. Get over it.
SmokedHostage (on 17 March 2009)
@blaydcor

So you hate it because it's not a new FE? Anyway, I'm enjoying it. :P
Phoenix_Wiight (on 12 March 2009)
its sad that the sales aren't very good for this. RD did much better...
blaydcor (on 04 March 2009)
I actually really like retro games (I've played this games original iteration and enjoyed it), I just did not want to wait 4 years for a new handheld Fire Emblem that is a slight update on a game I've already played with the same cookie cutter plot, plus mid-map save points, class switching, and unit rental.
blaydcor (on 04 March 2009)
@Roflinator
I have been playing fire Emblem since before it was ever localized. I'm not some whiny fanboy lamenting percieved casualization.

Furthermore, Intelligent Systems said this game was kept simpler, characters were less developed, etc to draw in new players...make the game less intimidating to new comers.

Not only that, but I'm complaining about it being a remake in the first place. If they wanted they could have EASILY remade the game with several of the series updates: split-class evolutions from SS, rescuing from every game post-gaiden, etc. It was a remake of the first game, but it's still a new game. Look at Metroid Zero Mission. That's how remakes are done.

I'm making a justified complaint. This particular Fire Emblem has inarguably dumbed-down the series.
Roflinator (on 02 March 2009)
@blaydcor: Hooray for more of this CASUALS non-sense. This is a remake of the first game, why else do you think it isn't as deep as the newer titles?
Incandescence (on 01 March 2009)
Poor sales for a poor game.
Kenology (on 26 February 2009)
It's the very first Fire Emblem, blaydcor. It's archaic due to the source material - an NES game. It's still a great game, I'm heavily addicted. I miss mounted units moving after attacking, rescuing allies, shoving, BEXP, etc. But it's all good! Love the game.
SmokedHostage (on 26 February 2009)
It doesn't suck.. it's just aged to some. I like it alot though.
Phoenix_Wiight (on 26 February 2009)
yo... you do know that this was a complete remake of the first game, thus why the story and characters suck, right?
your conclusion is pretty stupid.
blaydcor (on 26 February 2009)
Lamer story, less developed characters, simplified (retro) gameplay....I feel like Fire Emblem has taken several steps backwards with this game. Reaching out to casuals? I want a new FE the caliber of the GBA titles.
O-D-C (on 21 February 2009)
My 1st Fire Emblem game that Im playing and I love it.
Blacksaber (on 20 February 2009)
I felt like I failed the first few fights since I lost the Captured Archer the Princesses and the Mercenary as soon as I got them >_>
SmokedHostage (on 17 February 2009)
I'm liking the retro feel of this game. Not being able to rescue units or get experience from taking enemy hits is tough to get used to.
SmokedHostage (on 17 February 2009)
Finally got it!
SmokedHostage (on 17 February 2009)
Getting it today. Can't wait. :)
Phoenix_Wiight (on 11 February 2009)
man im looking forward to this so much.
SmokedHostage (on 09 February 2009)
Only one more week! :)
nordlead (on 10 January 2009)
America boxart is now up.
sjhillsa (on 04 January 2009)
It's difficult to find in the U.K. All places have sold out. They can't have produced many in the first place.
silverlunar777 (on 01 January 2009)
since this game's release in Europe it never charted even in the top 50.

Bomba! stupid Europe... :'C
dawve24 (on 27 December 2008)
Finally found time to start this and am loving it.
SmokedHostage (on 19 December 2008)
When I say that, I mean did it flop in Europe?
SmokedHostage (on 19 December 2008)
Did this game flop?
nordlead (on 17 December 2008)
Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon now available for pre-order in the US
BengaBenga (on 09 December 2008)
Thank you NoE for bringing this game to Europe so early!

It's a great game! Definitely the old Fire Emblem feel. SRPG fans will love it.
sjhillsa (on 06 December 2008)
Ordered it today 06/12/08. The American release is coming soon, so you won't have long to wait.
Senrii (on 05 December 2008)
Well, I have the game, and it's just awesome.. Like the GBA ones.
But one tip for Americans.. Why not import this one? It's so easy! I import almost all my games from America, because they usually release first in America (ok, in Japan..)..
So, just import this game, it's worth it!
aiden.cronus (on 05 December 2008)
Damn u Euros!!

:P
okr (on 04 December 2008)
Yes, we will. Thanks :-)
SmokedHostage (on 04 December 2008)
I hope you Europeans enjoy this game tomorrow.. T_T
Roflinator (on 04 December 2008)
It's coming to Europe soon...and we still don't have a release date for America?

What the hell?
whacker41 (on 03 December 2008)
What, it's coming out in PAL regions in 08? Best Thing I've heard all day. I'll have to rearrange my Christmas list now.

Sorry, Sonic, no space for you now.
reinhold (on 02 December 2008)
This game's impending release convinced me to finally purchase a DS. Having a good time w/ Advance Wars, but I can't wait for Fire Emblem!
Phoenix_Wiight (on 09 September 2008)
seriously,, when are we getting this game?
Kihniö (on 05 September 2008)
Jumped big in week 4..
Clearly it has been supply issue
silverlunar777 (on 01 September 2008)
Knowing NoA it will be released in 6 months :(
Majin-Tenshinhan (on 31 August 2008)
Now that's a hard drop if I ever saw one. :x
Kenology (on 21 August 2008)
Big drop, but I hear it was sold out. We'll see what week three numbers look like.
deathcape (on 20 August 2008)
damn..this game rocks...I got the JP version..cuz I couldn't wait...but DAMN this game rocks!!!

fights look great..kind of like the GBA with some elements from the 3D games

but...seriously..anyone even remotely interested in strategy games HAS to get this @_@
MeowTheMouse (on 18 August 2008)
*singing*tananananaaaanaaaaaaa
opps ! wrong place !
love FE
NintendoMan (on 16 August 2008)
yes it is
arsenal009 (on 15 August 2008)
Is this the remake of the the first one?
Kenology (on 15 August 2008)
Me neither. Zelda is my fav series and even that didn't get me to buy a DS just yet. But I'm damn sure gonna get it in time for Fire Emblem! Where's the U.S. date already, Ninty?
Onimusha12 (on 15 August 2008)
can't wait for this to come stateside.
SmokedHostage (on 14 August 2008)
Solid Opening week. I hope this game has legs.
